2.10 The Spell of the Burning Bride

He hasn't been in the last two episodes, Carson, I mean.

Anyway, a haunted wedding dress was the problem this week. Seems it was cursed by a bride decades ago.

And even though Nancy destroyed it, some dust from it infected her. Every time a man got near her, Nancy's libido went into overdrive. In the end, they had to lock her up in the freezer, at the diner, while Bess and Ace went looking for a cure. And even then, it wasn't easy, as Nancy broke out. She and George got into a wrestling match, before Bess and Ace got back with the cure. And said cure had a delayed reaction, and Nancy almost seduced that cop, before it kicked in.

At least Nancy and the cop seem to have sorted things out.

And it seems Nancy is now going to be in a relationship with Gil Bobbsy.

Meanwhile, Odette wanted to go out and experience the town. And she chose Bess to go with her. Of course, that doesn't surprise me. Like Bess, Odette is gay. However, Odette lived in a time when being gay was considered an abomination (which got her killed). The 21st Century must seem like Utopia to Odette, where you can be gay and not be persecuted for it. Of course, she would gravitate towards Bess. And while Bess was very tempted, she knew it was wrong. This was George's body, after all. I wonder if they'll follow up on this, it would make an interesting storyline.

And Ace is going to meet his brother, a brother he has never met.

The stupid reporter had outed Nancy to the Hudson's! Does not not realize that she's put Nancy in danger, or does she just not care? If I were Ryan, I would not be happy.

I really liked this episode. All the slow mo shots were hilarious. The show does humor well.

Kennedy McMann seems to be one of those actors who really has chemistry with the rest of the cast. I don't care for her and Gil as a romantic duo, but there are some sparks there.

I actually do like Tamura and Nancy, but I think having them stay partners for awhile is best. They do have a nice balance and some growing respect for each other. I had to laugh at Nancy clearing the air, and then not talking at all about their weird moment.

Not feeling Bess and Odette at all. Thank you Ace for trying to inject some reason there. I think I'm just getting a little weary of George (and Nick) having to deal with Odette.

Poor Nancy, lol. It takes all of her friends to help her when she's in trouble.Maybe we'll get a little more of Ace's dad in future episodes. And where is George's mom?

Been wondering that myself.  George seems to be raising her sisters now.

That moron just drew a bullseye target on Nancy's back.  Can't wait to see Ryan's reaction, as he seemed to like this reporter (and he was trying to keep Nancy safe).
