My right wrist is swollen like balloon and hurts like hell. I don't remember doing anything to it.
Could it be carpal tunnel syndrome??

Ouch. Sorry you're having to deal with that, Tim. It might be carpal tunnel, but it could also be a circulatory issue. (You said you're diabetic, right?) Either way, you probably want to get it looked at.

Sucks Tim, hopefully will feel better after a good night's rest, would taking any pain killers or anti-inflammatory's help? Anyways, I was rather annoyed this evening, my brother is a big fan of the card game Yu-Gi-Oh, it's his birthday coming up in a few weeks so I decided to buy him a whole deck of cards that he'd been eyeing up, except when I opened the parcel, they were all in these protective sleeves to keep dirt off them, which was great, except they were so slippery I dropped them all over the floor and accidentally stepped on one of the cards with my work boots on, so now it's all creased and bent in the middle!

If it keeps up, I will.
Do you still have the receipt? If so, maybe you can get a replacement card.

Reminds me of how back in the day I always put my Pokémon cards in binders and special plastic covers. One crease or bend, and they were automatically worthless, LOL.

Adam, it worked. I took some Tylenol, and then took a nap for a few hours. My wrist feels much better now.

That's good to know, Tim. Hopefully, it doesn't swell back up again.

Oh that's great news Tim, hopefully it'll stay that way! And good news, I contacted the seller off ebay I bought the cards from, he didn't have another copy of the card but he did refund me some money so I could buy a new one. All's well that ends well.

Well, at least you got your money back. I've always found ebay sellers to be surprisingly efficient and reputable. I've frequently bought antiques off of there, and they were usually delivered ahead of schedule.

It's both already treated. The ankle three years ago and I got a bandage for it and the other one last year and there was no damage. Remember I could't use my left hand as well for some time? All good again. Thankfully!

I'm glad that you're okay, Jana.
As for me, the pain in my right wrist disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared. I wonder what caused it?

For longer tours, I need my bandage for my right ankle but otherwise nothing for biking. Thank God! In October I have an appointment with my orthopaedic specialist again. She controls all from time to time or when I'm in pain, again.

Hopefully, it will all be sorted out soon, Jana. I hate Labour Day weekend shopping. Sometimes it seems worse than Black Friday. Yesterday, Wal Mart was a madhouse, a madhouse (quoting Charlton Heston's character from Planet Of The Ages)! All that last minute back to school shopping, parents with their screaming children in tow. God, get me the hell out of there Maybe it's just me. I find that, the older I get, the less patience I have with children. Give me a cat any day.

My friend doesn't like kids for the same reason you stated the screaming although he does love his friends 18 month old son though whose a good boy and doesn't do it.
Myself though I work with children and so am used to it obviously.

I like my friends kids too. They're well behaved.
However, you get the screaming ones in stores, that is what turns me off.
