The worst is when I go to the cinema/theatre and there are screaming kids running around the seats and in front of the movie screen, it's so selfish.

Tell me about it.
Another reason just to stay home and wait for the DVD/Blue Ray to come out.

Someone at work has been going around and telling someone I've been saying nasty things about them, which I haven't. I barely even talk to this person and now they're under the impression that I've called them some rude names, which I haven't. I go to work to work, not to get involved in childish games, it's really quite disappointing to be dragged through the mud because certain people are bored and can't keep their mouths shut.

Even when visiting an interesting landmark or point of interest, and a lot of kids around, that's no fun. I had it this year while visiting Gotha. Absolutely no fun!!

I think some people just live for drama and want to create some where there is none. Disappointing to see full-grown adults acting like this.

Some people are just so damned mean. I've dealt with these kind of people too, Adam. They get bored, so they cause trouble, even for those that have done them no harm.
Hopefully, this person will be exposed for the liar that they clearly are, and this will go away.

Yeah, rumors are a bad thing, especially at work. What happens afterwards is mostly that the working environment is poisoned and no one likes to work in it. Maybe all will be solved soon, Adam.

It's one thing to see this kind of behavior online or in a classroom, but I generally expect better behavior in a professional setting. Sad that you're having to deal with these people, Adam.

Yeah, I know. Some people just like to build themselves up by knocking others down

As you know, I did a trainee this week and I'm really not happy there, meaning I denied the job. For one, I don't like phoning all day and really "beg" for jobs for the employees. Second, there are too much smokers in that group what made me wonder how they get it done. I just hope that my jobcenter will accept my apology. I still think, some people may be made for phoning and I'm not one of them.
I'll go on searching for a suitable job for me.

They actually allow people to smoke in the office? You can't do that in North America anymore. You want to smoke, you have to go outside to do it. That applies to restaurants too, because of what happened to poor Heather Crowe. She never smoked, it was the second hand smoke that gave her the cancer that would ultimately kill her.

Same in the UK Tim you have to smoke outside which has designated areas because all our buildings are non smoking inside I.E workplaces, pubs, clubs, restaurants that sort of thing.
Soon you won't be able do that inside your car either with children there which's good them not breathing in all those harmful fumes and everything.

It's also the same here. That you have to go outside to smoke! Still, secretly it made me wonder how often they smoked and then how they got their work done. No offense, the breaks of smokings were pretty often in my eyes.
------ EDIT: Oops, didn't realize my mistake and as you can see now: f and g are close on my keyboard! lol

Of course, I'm anti-smoking anyway. Both my parents smoked like chimneys and it killed them both.
Amazing that people still smoke when they know that it's killing you. When my parents first started (the 1940's), it wasn't known how bad it was. However, that's no longer the case.
