Smallville is where Edge is getting that stuff to help create his Augments.

I wonder if he did that on John Henry Iron's Earth also? We shall have to see obviously.

Very interesting. So Jon wants to know more. Well, knowledge could hurt too.

That might have been why John Henry was so determined. He didn't want to see history repeating itself.

BROTHER?! Whether that’s literal of figurative, this is GREAT! I wonder what is going on with Edge.
Seriously though, this show is amazing. The acting, the writing, the effects, it’s all so well done. Tightly plotted, well-paced, tense episodes that lead us to more twists.
I love this show. It’s FANTASTIC.
I loved that Sam FINALLY was confronted by the family. But Jon was the real star when he confronted Sam. Jon is probably my favorite brother between him and Jordan.

Loyal Subjekts
Yet again another amazing episode.
Jordan has begun sneezing and he cannot stop. He has sneezed icicles into his hands. Clark shows up and takes him home, assuming he is infected too like Clark who had bruises from a mission he took care of. Turns out the kryptonite gas from last episode is affecting them. Knowing this was created by the military, Sam is called.
At the fortress, we learn from Jor-El that Clark has to burn the fluid out of Jordan’s lungs. So Jordan learns he has a new new power. But the best part was that amazing moment at the fortress with Jordan and Clark. I’ve been waiting for that for ages and it was perfect. The guilt he feels, the Jordan’s beautiful response. I just can’t love it more!
Jonathan comforts his mother Lois at home who is worried about Jordan's health.
I’ve waited so long for Lois and Sam having a real talk. It was a big moment. But I liked that the show took time to give POV’s from both sides. "Where are you going?" - "Oh, to make a scene." LOL I'm loving Elizabeth Tulloch's Lois more and more. I loved her confronting her dad, but Jonathan's confrontation was even better for me because "I could never be scared of my family" was a surprisingly powerful line. Jon straight up roasting Sam was amazing. Go Jon!
Sam endangered Clark and Jordan, did things behind their backs, and only found out because of a villain. But Lois has every right to be angry, especially given his behavior earlier in the season. I mean, had it not been for Clark's back up plan, Jordan would have died I’m sure. So I really agree with Lois. But I also see Sam's pov. I was upset for Lois, but I understand why he did it. He is just preparing for the worst, which is all anyone can do. But, given that, he should have told Lois, or at the very least, left someone else in charge of it so he wasn't being distrustful to his family. I understand him not telling Clark, since 7734 was for him as well, but he should have told Lois, his own daughter. Be honest Sam.
Sam could have also done things better in a way where it wasn't a huge betrayal of trust. I’m still upset at Sam, but he saved the family and it seems like he is shifting his priorities, so I'm proud of him for the character development. This is what I like to see, owning up to your mistakes, and not feeling sorry for yourself, and admitting that and wanting to change.
This episode continue to show me why Jonathan is such a good character and the heart of the family. He continues to still try and help his brother Jordan on the Sarah front like a good wingman brother. He is there for his mother when she is in a bad spot and needs someone for encouraging words and just to give a hug too. He has some flaws and isn’t perfect, like last episode when he disobeyed Lois and did something dangerous but learned his lesson. And calling his grandmother Sam out for all his crap and calling him a coward to his face. Go, Jonathan! But I do worry something is going to happen with his crush on this mysterious girl, as long as whoever this is, and where it goes, won’t stop him from staying true to who he is and he’ll still not put them over his family. As for Kyle in this episode, I am happy he stepped up (first time my least favorite character of the season did something good, which I had to think to myself that this might be misdirection to make me feel this way for a reason, with a twist, and I sure was right later in the episode LOL), and it was nice seeing him interact with the Jordan and Jon, since we haven't seen that really. I’m finding the whole “Edge and Leslie Larr are always listening” thing to be genuinely terrifying and scary. Every time the other characters are talking about what’s going on I find myself wanting our heroes to write it down so they don’t hear!! LOL
I really liked that we got Clark, Lois, and Chrissy all working together. I didn't like Chrissy at first but I'm glad Lois has a friend who is also in journalism that will role with her theories and such. Love both Lois and Clark getting their journalism on. Felt like old times for them.
Another funny moment was that Clark’s reaction over having bruises for the first time was kind of funny.
And Morgan Edge is Kryptonian?!?! He called Superman brother but also implied he gave himself powers meaning he’s not kryptonian. He must mean brother in a symbolic way. Could he be Zod or someone else? I can't wait for the next episode as no way he is Morgan Edge, I'm sure he is someone else. Going to dig into the DC Wiki for theories. Great climax and good twist with Kyle. It turns out he does have powers, but it seems like he doesn't want to be turned into a servant for Edge. I thought he’d apply for the experiment but I didn’t think it would be so soon. Hopefully, he can get help. I hope this means Clark, Lois, and the boys let Lana, Kyle and Sarah in on everything. PLEASE!
Odds and Ends: *Wondering who Edge might be, when he implies he is a brother, unless I’m wrong and it turns out he means symbolically. So after a bit of looking around the DC Wiki, I think there is a chance "Edge" could be Jax-Ur who was a Kryptonian scientist or H'El, a Kryptonian clone who worked for Jor-El and Lara and saw them as his own parents. *I absolutely love that Superman stops crime in other countries instead of just the United States. We’ve seen glimpses of this before, with him rescuing a bus somewhere in Asia, but we have an extended scene of him attempting to stop a bank robbery in Mexico this episode. * I’ve noticed they haven’t played the John Williams score yet, are they even allowed, might be a rights/money thing, or they are saving it for a big moment.
Overall thoughts: LOL, I know i say this every we review lately, but this episode was amazing. Continuing my A+ streak for four episodes now. The family moments, and the twists and turns continue to be so great. Jon is easily my favorite between him and Jordan, he might be my favorite teen on television in quite a long time. And dorky Clark is so fun to watch and seeing Clark and Lois team up together using their journalism skills. I just wish we didn't have to wait a week for the next episode, because I want it now. LOL
Grade: A+
Moments: 1. Jon: ‘I could never be scared of my family.’ 2. Jon-Sam moment on the porch. 3. Jordan and Clark at the Fortress.

The ending just blew me away. So, is Morgan Edge a Kryptonian, the ending seemed to indicate that. Did he assume the identity of the real Morgan Edge (which would explain the actor change) at some point? Who is this Kryptonian?
So, Kyle is one of the Augments. And just when I started to like the guy.
So, what is "Edge's" plan? To turn Earth into a new Krypton?
And can Clark and Lois defeat the Augments without killing their human hosts?
Sam Lane came through here. He helped save the day at the end. By gassing those two Augments, he bought enough time for Clark to get back and drive them away.
And it looks like they have Smallville locked down. And they know who the Augments are.
Glad Jordan was saved.
Lois has harsh words for her father, however, his actions towards the end seemed to help patch some things up between them.
Another great episode.

I loved Lois and Clark getting their journalism gear on like old times when they worked at the Planet with Chrissy helping them which was cool seeing and the fact they had to really dig to get what they wanted not having any technology to help them.
Edge really knows how to rope people in doesn't he?
Jordan and Sarah only been friends yeah right.
Becareful around Edge Lana as Lois says.
Kyle being nice to Jordan and Jonathan? Okay maybe I might like him this episode then.
Cool save in Mexico Superman which reminded me of the Superman films with him speaking Spanish although something's up with him clearly. Could that be to do with the Kryptonite gas he inhaled previously?
Poor Jonathan can't get a break with Tegan can he?
Clark with bruises? Never seen that although hot body. Whoa.
Just kiss her already if your goanna get back together with Sarah Jordan.
So I'm guessing he now has icy breath which the Kryptonite gas brought on maybe?
Being half human is probably affecting Jordan more than Clark I'm assuming?
I get why Lois had a go at Sam for what was happening to Jordan but I also understand Sam's point of view and why 7734 existed encase he needed to prevent anything bad occurring if superman turned evil but he should've told Lois and Clark about that beforehand obviously the same way Gideon in Charmed season 6 should've told Piper and Leo his concerns about Wyatt possibly turning evil in the future before out rightly trying to kill him then.
I'm slightly worried what'll happen to Lana now Edge knows she's been digging into him.
Loved Clark and Jordan's scene at the fortress with Clark understanding and responding to his son's fearfulness of what's happening to himself.
Also loved Jonathan and Lois's scene as well. He really is the heart of the family.
Kyle's stepping up this episode playing guitar when Sarah sings which I like seeing.
Good call out on Sam Jonathan.
Okay Sam saving your daughter and grandson. I may start to like you perhaps.
Kyle has powers too? That was quick and unexpected.
What's happening with the subjects Edge has is similar to what the KGB did with Russian sleeper cells back in the day implanting them into normal lives and activating them as assassins at the turn of a switch.
I'm glad Sam admitted his mistakes and that he and Lois are on an even keel at the minute.
Wasn't excepting Edge to be Kryptonian but okay. I'm assuming the real Edge's dead and whoever this person is has taken over his identity?
Does he want to create a new Krypton on Earth then?
This show just keeps on getting better and better. I hope it wins awards for it's casting, storylines and writing which it deserves naturally.
Can't wait for next week.

This was another great episode. It answered several questions and opened up so many more avenues of cool storyline possibilities!
I wondered if Sarah's dad would end up being a Super Freak, but I was still surprised by that twist at the same time!
So now we know Edge's True Colors and Plans for Smallville, though I never saw the whole "I'm Superman's Brother" angle coming! I was also wondering if he'd eventually end up being revealed as a Multiverse Version of Zod?
The Superhearing scene was really cool!
I feel so bad for poor Jordan, with all he's going through.
Jon telling off Sam was great. I'm glad Sam came through though.

Oh wow, what an episode!! If the previous one was already good, this one tops it. So, Edge is also from Krypton and Clark's brother?! Never seen that one coming. Wow, so he's working on getting his army by using the people from Smallville. Weird that they never can remember of what had happened? Best example, Kyle who helped his daughter but then he attacked Jonathan and Lois, without a memory of it. Jordan and Clark were good together at the fortress to treat this virus but Jonathan once more stood up to his Grandpa, and told him that this family stands together whether he likes or not. In the end, Sam came to his senses. Oh man, I really wanna know what the hell is going on here!!

Another brilliant episode. Every episode I'm amazed at just how good this show keeps getting. I did not see that twist coming at all, even just moments before. This show nails Lois Lane. That "I'm going to make a scene" moment feels so perfectly in character, she's always making a calculated jump into traffic and I love it and Tulloch gets every moment right. Jonathan proves to be a great brother and the heart of the family. I'm okay if he never gets powers, but I feel like they'll make him get powers the way Kyle and other townsfolk are. Grade: A+

This answers a question that's been bugging me all season, why would Edge give his underlings powers that he himself didn't have.
Well, he had powers all along, since he's Kryptonian.
