Looks like Richard Speight Jr's doing more directing since Supernatural's ended which makes sense since the star of Walker was on that show and had been directed by him before so Jared knows and feels easy working with Richard and probably recommended him to the showrunners of course.

Looking forward to this one.
And then a two week break due to the Olympics where we'll get the season finale. The CW should have broadcast episode 18 this week and made it a two hour finale with episode 17.

And I thought this was going to be a breather episode.
I mean the Big Reveal about Stan, the guy that Liam is running against for D.A., someone Walker knows and trusts. Stan was involved in Emily's death, in fact, it seems that he was the one that masterminded it. When Walker finds this out, he is blown away. This is something he'd thought he'd solved. And, what's worse, at that point, Stan is at the Walker ranch!
Meanwhile, Stan is in panic mode. He's just accidentally killed a reporter who was asking too many questions. When he hears that Walker is coming for him, he calls up two mooks and has them run Walker's truck off the road. At gunpoint, Walker is forced to did a grave for the dead reporter. He knows that Stan will never let him go. However, what Stan didn't count on is Walker taking both his mooks out and now holding him at gunpoint.
I was sure that Walker was going to pull the trigger, consequences be damned. Instead he tells Stan to "get in the truck" as the episodes ends. What Walker is going to do will have to wait until the season finale.
Guess Liam is gonna win the election. Regardless of what Walker does, Stan is a murderer and will be going to jail.
Nice to see Trey's mom. He and Micki calk about one day having kids.
Abeline and Bonham decide to renew their vows.
I liked Stella and August's bits as well.
Hey, Geri is back.
Can't wait for the season finale.

I was wondering why no one else here was discussing this major revelation, but remembered that most Walker fans here live outside of North America and have to rely on streaming services.
Anyway, poor Walker had thought it was over, that Emily's murder had been solved and that he could move on. Then he finds out that someone he knows and trusts, someone who has been to his home many times, was involved (and may have been the mastermind behind it). One cannot blame him for being tempted to pull the trigger.
Of course, killing Stan won't bring Emily back. But Walker didn't kill him, seems he has other plans. What those plans are, we'll have to wait and see.

So, my streaming service is also back on track. Back to the episode: Oh wow, first a bomb at school and the kids are taking to the bar where Geri awaits them shocked. Nice to have her back. So, the guy running for DA as well with Liam is involved in Emily's murder and he's also a friend of the Walkers. Could this get more complicated?! Anyway, Stan kills a reporter who asks too many questions and it seems he has a very short temper. When he realizes that Cordell comes after him, after getting the truth from Mendoza, well, he snaps and let Cordell work for him and dig his own grave, maybe. At the end we've got the big confrontation but no solution. Nice to see Trey's mom now and of course, she wants to have grandkids. Poor guy! Pressured by his mom. And they bonded so well. Teenagers and relationships. Stella and Auggie, well, let them grow up first, please. Nice that Abeline and Bonham are also on the right track. New vows and no more secrets in the family! Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully not too long.

And it's likely that he masterminded Emily's murder (possibly because she saw, or learned, something she wasn't supposed to). And Stan was no random stranger, he's someone that the Walker family knows. Stan offers his house for Abeline and Bonham decide to renew their vows, despite being responsible for the murder of their daughter-in-law.

I am yes as well as updating another message forum which I haven't visited a long time of course plus sorting things out for my holiday to Torquay tomorrow.
So Walker's back on the job which I'm guessing the kid's had something to do with that then?
Brett and Liam seem to still be getting on.
Wow Trey's mother's infectious and traditional as well in regard's to relationship and co paying and having grandkids and everything.
What's up with DA Stan and Emily Walker's murder? Does he know something about it actually?
Glad seeing Geri back. Her and Cordy's school days flashback chat was cute.
Walker did look like an ice skating Patrick Swayze in the picture at Sacred Heart school.
Clearly there's feeling's still there between he and Geri.
Why do I get the feeling that Auggie's new girlfriend Ruby is only with him because she wants something from him?
It's good Walker said he wanted to talk with Travis rather than shoot him which I thought he might do perhaps.
So Emily's death's not over it seems. Was Mendoza framed from that?
Auggie knew Ruby only went with him for information on what happened with the Walker family.
Oh my god Stan had something to do with Emily's death because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time? Or masterminded it then? Plot twist. Walker certainly will be angry.
Someone will find out about the reporter's death.
Is Cordell gonna kill him?
I hope he's okay after the truck crash?
There's plenty of more fish in the sea than Ruby Auggie.
And what's Walker gonna do with Stan?

He sure the heck was. He took out those two mooks in seconds!
That is the question.
