Well, we came to an end of a strong season, IMO. Yes, I enjoyed this season, it was almost Lovecraftian in places in that the sisters went up against and ancient and powerful evil.
Of course, most of you are probably wonder, how did Macy die, or did she die at all. Well, yes and no. I was right in that the writers knew this was happening and wrote a good episode around it.
What mean is that she was physically dying, However, in the end, she became part of that Magic Tree they have at the Command Center. So this does leave the door open for a guest appearance or cameo, should Madeleine want to do so.
Poor Harry, after working hard to become human, he has to go back to being a white lighter (in order to try and save Macy). He ropes Jordan into helping. It works, but it seems that Jordan may now have white lighter powers too as result.
Despite Harry trying to use his powers, plus Mel and Maggie trying everything they can, they cannot change fate. Macy's sacrifice ended a powerful threat to the world, but the price had to be paid.
They had a flashback montage of Macy. More than Prue ever got.
As the episode ended, the Guardian Of The Tree informed Mel, Maggie, and Harry that "there is another". And that's all we got. Who this "other" will have to wait until next season.
For those of you that skipped this season, go watch it. I think you'll like it.

I wonder why Harry became human only to become a White Lighter again which some people may think shouldn't have happened the same with Wallis Day not just appearing as Kate Kane at the season 2 start of Batwoman.
There being another person might also turn fans of watching next year if it's gonna a repeat of classic Charmed season 4 when they may want something new and original shown instead, of course.
At least Macy got a decent send-off I suppose unlike Shannen then and sacrificed herself to save the world instead of being killed by a demon then.

Ah, but the Guardian just said that there was another. Doesn't mean it has to be a sister.
She did.

I watched my first reboot episode in forever. But won't come back for S4.
Macy got a decent send off even if you can tell they put this together as the whatever Whisperer plot felt like they had more plannec had the actress not left. Wouldn't know as didn't watch the season.
Watching this made me imagine had they gotten rights to Shannen's image we'd have a flashback montage of Prue at her funeral.
Now there's another out there. Most speculation is the cousin turns out to be really their sister. Others that Macy had a twin. I just can't see them pulling the half sister card again.
So Jordan is a whitelighter now or did he share the powers through Harry. We'll see
I guess their pain over losing Macy will happen in the first episode of S4 with her funeral and them getting upset and dealing with it over time.
Hopefully they'll have more luck getting Macy back for the last episode unless she turns them down. With her issues with the writing I wouldn't be surprised.

Of course, unlike the case of Prue, there is no body to explain. Macy can be considered a Missing Person.
The question is what cover story will Mel, Maggie, and Harry come up with to explain her disappearance.
