And Jordan is half-human, so that might limit his abilities.

Now I'd accept that as a reason why he didn't mature so quickly like Clark then what I wouldn't want is people bashing Jordan's character saying he's got to be as powerful as Superman when it's much better seeing the boy's character development through learning and growing in his abilities whilst making mistakes along the way obviously.

What a finale. Well worth the wait.
Lois and Clark's pain was totally felt not knowing Jordan's location then.
Seeing Zeta Rho possess him was terrifying actually.
Go badass Lois with Leslie.
Come on Jordan you can fight through this although Clark fighting his son no way. Don't hurt him please.
Man Edge possessing those solders was creepy.
Ah Sarah concerned about Jordan. Cute there.
Lois who was standout this episode will get inside Jordan's head like Edge did Clark using that technology and get through to him that way dispossessing Zeta Rho as she knows him best.
I hope Jordan's flying is only temporary because of his possession then? I'd much rather see him learn and progress in his abilities overtime with Clark teaching him.
Kyle saving the girl from the burning building gave me more respect for him though I thought he was a gonna for a sec.
Becareful Jonathan Jordan's not himself yet. I was worried Zeta Rho would kill him.
It makes sense Lois would find Jordan when he's feeling down. I liked the throwbacks scenes from beforehand.
Am praying Clark and John are okay. I'm glad Superman saved him.
Lana will run for mayor I think?
Superman telling how the people of Smallville saved themselves and not him working together was heartfelt it being his hometown obviously. It was right he also explained who Edge was as people deserved to know the truth.
It's nice the Cushing's aren't leaving Smallville and that Kyle got his job back at the fire station of course.
I like Lois buying half of the Smallville Gazette with her and Chrissy running that obviously.
Sam retiring and spending more time with his family is a good thing.
I loved Sarah replying back she loved Jordan. So cute.
It's a shame Jor-El will no longer be around but nice how they buried him beneath the tree.
Been older maybe the show thought Clark no longer needed advice from an AI perhaps though will this be the last we'll see the Fortress possibly?
John Henry leaving because he sees his wife when he looks at Lois I understand though his daughter Natalie landing down in that pod is really gonna shake things up next season then.

Yeah, they're not pariahs to the town anymore.

So call me a big cry-baby but I was pretty blubbery by the end of the episode! What a perfect finale!
My favorite part was the end seeing John getting to reunite with his daughter again, he deserved some happiness after all he's been through. It'll be interesting to see that develop next season.
I'm not sure I trust Jonathan's new love interest, she still seems shady to me, from Central City and her dad is in jail? A metahuman perhaps?
The Cushings have really grown on me especially Kyle, he just wanted something good for his dying town, can't fault him for that I guess.
The whole Jordan and Sarah thing is fine but I'm not that interested in teen romance, I feel like she suspects something now though, she definitely looked puzzled as to why Edge would have taken Jordan.
I love this show tbh. I am wary though considering CW has a habit of starting its shows off strong before gradually declining in quality, hopefully they can break the cycle with this because it really is special.

Let's hope season 2 doesn't fall in terms of what it developed in season 1 character and storyline-wise with S&L continuing to go from strength to strength in subsequent years after Supergirl ends.
