Our visit to Hylands Park and Estate in Chelmsford went well.
The house is a gorgeous 2-floor Georgian estate with a basement which we all saw using the lift inside the property making that very accessible.
I took lots of pictures which I've shared in my photo thread.
There were stables next door though no horses but a few shops, toilets, and a cafe instead where we got cups of tea and ate our homemade sandwiches outside.
There was an adventure castle playground away from the estate but we didn't go there because my sister got slightly agitated after toileting so we came home then.

For our trip to Canterbury tomorrow mum and I are debating how to get there and back of course.
We were originally gonna go by train using our rail card discount but possibly could drive it there from our house instead which we've done before and use a park and ride place service outside Canterbury getting a bus into town.
The journey there and back petrol wise and paying Dartford toll plus park and ride will cost £34.55 overall. By train with return tickets and me paying to get to our local train station and up to Stratford before going onto Canterbury and back is £48.10 total.
My car oils getting changed by my mechanic this evening which came up on my dashboard last week as it does every year around this time so once that's done we could have no problems water and screen wash topped up just driving off even with my broken dipstick problem.
We'll decide what we do once my cars back later on.

We're gonna go by train because my mechanic told me two of my tyres need replacing having low treads on them so I'll have to do them tomorrow before I go away ready for when I go back to work next Tuesday then.
The price of getting new partly worn tyres has gone up though now costing £55 each instead of £30 due to the pandemic.

Yeah, everything gets more expensive. For me it's also soon time to change tyres again. *sighs*

Our Canterbury trip was okay but I had my headache/sick on/off all day which didn't help. It eased through the day then came back around late afternoon but by then mum and I had a cup of tea in Marks & Spencer's.
The Cathedral was gorgeous which I took lots of pictures of. I managed to get a couple of good new belts to replace the ones I already have gone home.
I also lastly purchased a good second pair of fit-over sunglasses which you can place over actual glasses to block out sunlight cheaper than prescription sunglasses that I got for mum and mine's weekend break in Chichester of course.
