IN TOO DEEP – On the trail of the Frozen Hearts Killer, Nancy (Kennedy McMann) and her friends follow a surprising lead from a podcaster at an annual convention for amateur sleuths – where they also find themselves unraveling ghostly clues about a homicide from the 1950s.

We tangled with a ghost this week, the executed man in question.  Turns out that he was innocent of the crime in question.  However, the reason he didn't clear himself was that he was with the woman he loved.  A black woman.   And since this was happening in 1950, you can see the problem.   In those days, interracial couples were not accepted.   Still, with the help of Ace and the Drew Crew, the ghost was able to finally move on.

The black woman in question was the grandmother of the pod caster that Nancy was going to see.   

And they did catch the cold heart killer.  However, as he's hauled away, the killer says  that he's part of something bigger.  What could that be.

We learn a bit more about Ace.  His grandfather was a Holocaust survivor.

Loved the bit about George meeting her "fans" and wondering just what the heck was going on.  Turns out someone was writing stories about her and posting them online.  And the author was her youngest sister, Ted.   Seems Odette told Ted a few stories and Ted wrote them down.

Yeah, I kind of knew that Bess and that other woman were gonna end up all over each other!

I really loved the supernatural part tonight, very moving.

I wonder if maybe the killer is part of the road back?

Nancy was full of little teases and again George is picking up on some of it - love the unsettled feeling that will now carry over the rest of the season.

Bess looking out for Ace again, mentioning it’s not over with the Bobbseys so that’s likely to continue.
