3.06 The Myth of the Ensnared Hunter

Nancy and Ryan had some father/daughter bonding time this week.  Mind you, they didn't expect to have it hunting a killer monster, but there it was.  Loved when Ryan asked Nancy  to tell him some of the stuff he missed.  Nancy then asked about her birth mother.  It was a nice scene.

When they were in those tunnel,, I kept expecting Pennywise the clown to jump out at them (the town of Derry, is also in Maine, after all).

Of course, Nancy and Ryan get a surprise of their own when, getting away from the monster.  They find a ladder and end up popping out at the Historical Society (and surprising Bess and George, who are there on an unrelated reason).  This seems to indicate Hannah, the historical lady, is involved.  Whether, she willingly released the monster, or got herself into a situation over her head, remains to be seen.    And the fact that Hannah seems to be missing also adds to this.

Bess and George seem to be trying to find a way to remove Odette from George, thus allowing George not to die in ten years time.

As for Ace, well, he's in the clear.  He led the cops to Amanda Bobbsey's dad, and the dad was busted.  While this cleared Ace, it finished his relationship with Amanda (she seems to think he betrayed her, although she said she knew he would follow her).  Still, he does seem to be on better terms with his father, even if he doesn't want to move back home.

Loved the scene when the Drew Crew were watching the video and they saw Bess and Addie getting it on.  How embarrassing!    Still, it does give George incentive to tell Bess to pursue a relationship with Addie, if that's what she wants.

Very good episode.

Be funny if hoping Ryan keeps playing games with the chore wheel because every mention of it, right down to using it to distract him from shoving the dislocated shoulder back in, is funny.

I'm amazed that there's this whole huge tunnel system under the town that nobody - utility workers.

I Loved the bit where Bess and George initially thought Nancy and Ryan might be hallucination, especially since this came right after everyone's casual "oh, sure, George and Bess are doing supernatural things and Nancy is just going to go hunt down a serial killer.

Amanda remains the best of the Bobbseys,

It's been all of one day and Ace has been mildly busy - what sort of job hunting were you doing, Ace? But setting up the long term plotline of you either starting up an official detective/computer business or heading off to college at the end of this season.

We now we learn that Hannah, too, is doing suspicious things. Let's see where this goes.
