Interesting stuff happened this night. At first the Legends had no idea where they were. The basically had to try and cope.
Hey, look Gary and Gideon hooked up. Loved how she just threw out the question of having sex so casually. Mind you, she's only been human a short time.
Poor Gwyn, loved his revelation about what happened to him in the First World War. And, in those days, there was no counseling and such open for veterans.
At first the Legends think they're in the prehistoric past. However, as it turns out, they're in the Soviet Union on April 26th, 1986, the time of the Chernobyl disaster. Most of you here were either not born yet, or too young to care, when that happened, but I remember it (I was nineteen at the time). Once again the Legends touch upon a historical event that happened within my lifetime.
We learn that Bishop was the one that built the other Waverider and stranded the Legends in 1925. And he was the one that made the robots that replaced the historical characters that died because of the actions of the Legends. What he didn't count on was his Gideon going all HAL 9000 on him! In the end, he manages to escape from the rogue computer and looks like he's hitching a ride with the Legends as they zapped out of 1986 (before the reaction went boom).

LOVED this episode. I'm really getting into this season. It might be better than last season. So much excitement.
I think I just realized the ending with the toilet was set up in season 4, when Mick told Mona not to push the red button in the bathroom.
Getting Gwyn’s backstory was great.
Two different characters, same actors, yet it feels totally different, like they’re two new actors. They’re both fantastic. Loved everything about their scenes together! They killed it.
Human Gideon is much fun. Her and Gary. It’ll be interesting to see what their relationship looks like.
I really hope Nate doesn’t leave the show if he lives in the totem with Zari.
Lumberjack Ava and Hunter Sara. So cool.

I LOVED this one.
Human Gideon is much fun. Looks like she and Gary are getting close, and I'm so happy for them.
Not sure where the Nate/Zari story is going, as it would mean less Nate, or he'll leave the show. Maybe they'll figure it out.

Gideon and Gary have a thing. Good for them. They are cute. Getting Gwyn’s backstory was great to see. So they are in 1986. When I was 4 nearly 5 years old. I loved that they tricked us into what period they ended up in.

Like others, I loved Gideon and Gary. I hope they will be happy.
I do wonder where they are going with Zari 1.0/Nate. What will happen if it sticks.
I wasn't even born in 1986. But it wasn't far off from when I was.

I'm one of the few members here who has clear memories of the event they were at, the Chernobyl disaster.
