Yeah, as I said Vietnam was a background for many characters on shows made at that time.
If Riptide were made now, it would be either Afghanistan or Iraq.

True. As said earlier, tonight then 'Uncle Ray' from S&S or here "Baxter Bernard" aka John Astin in real life. Could be fun again.

It was only half fun but more a serious issue. Anyway, Baxter did enjoy himself with the Contessa crew (who doesn't? ) but he was tricked and it was up to the Riptide Agency to rescue him. What they did, of course. And Nick let his Mimi for once fly by a lady. lol Tomorrow then a curse of Mary Aberdeen. That's one I remember, especially Cody's reaction.

All right. We start with Murray watching a horror movie and outside it's stormy and thundering. Then the lights go out and Murray is confronted with a guest who asked him to look for the boat "Mary Aberdeen", giving thousand dollar. Nick and Cody don't believe him at first but they search with him. When they finally found him, through some sheer luck, he told them the story about Donald Taylor and a murderer. The three of them went to the Taylor family and also get money (5000 dollar now) to find this boat. However, one grandson let slip where they could find maybe some information. A boat dealer named Tinny Tom who lists all owners to them. To Cody's shock, literally, the Riptide is the Mary Aberdeen - and that the boat is cursed. With some strange luck about a bomb, strange humor, treasure hunt and all, they end on the cemetery and find evidence against the Taylors. After some car chasing with a funeral car and normal one, all end where they should be. And the curse is forgotten, hopefully. Tomorrow it's about Boz and a secret mission or Boz Busters (original title).

It was. This season comes also the episode with the Nazi background which I have as an original with German subs. It was aired or released on DVD then. Here we have the whole show on DVD.

Yeah, shows in that time could have the heroes run into ex-Nazis.
Another plot line that can't happen now, as all ex-Nazis are now likely dead.

Yep, but more then on Wednesday. Anyway, today's episode was called "Boz Busters" in the original and we got to see how Nick and Cody got to know Murray in flashbacks as they were looking for him as he got kidnapped and should be sold out to the KGB. During the last chase with the Mimi, they used a variation of the Ghostbusters which I found funny. And well, in the end there was a trip to New Orleans again. lol

Yeah. And since we're kids of the time, we know about it. As said before, I found the variation of the Ghostbusters theme song funny .
