1943 was our stop this week. The Legends find themselves in WWII U.S. They find jobs in a nearby factory to get the parts they need to fix their time machine.
Of course, Astra and Spooner get janitorial jobs, which was the best a black and Hispanic woman could hope to get in that time and place. And Astra is not happy about this. When the boss gets in her face with sexist and racist comments, she freezes him. This allows her to take over the factory. However, she goes a bit too far when she demands that it become integrated and most of the staff walk out. Luckily, with the help of the Legends, they get the job done.
When Ava was on the line alone, I was reminded of that episode of I Love Lucy, when Lucy is more or less in the same situation with the chocolates. I wonder if this scene was a tribute to that.
Just when I started to like Bishop, he gets killed. And it looks like Evil Gideon cooked up evil versions of the Legends.
Zari 1 went back into the totem, so Zari 2 is back.
Zari 1 notices that Gwyn looks like John, with a beard. No one else sees this?
This was the fall finale, so no new episodes until January.
