I even made a list (or two) to put all movies and series in order of how I should watch them. Year after year and so on. The list is long but I said this before.

Oh boy. Out of fun, I've gone through Getty Images and found a lot of pictures to movies where I thought weren't that many. Oops. I'd need a new folder just for the pictures again but no, I guess. Like "Golden Gate", "Deadly Visitor" and "The Possession of Joel Delaney".

So, tonight I started with Part 1 of Aspen. A mini series from 1977. Cast: Perry King - Lee Bishop Sam Elliott - Tom Keating Gene Barry - Carl Osborne Roger Davis - Max Kendrick Michelle Phillips - Gloria Osborne Doug Heyes Jr. - Jon Osborne Jessica Harper - Kit Kendrick Bo Hopkins - Budd Townsend and many more Story: The first part tells the story of how Lee Bishop ended up in jail and in Aspen. He follows his big love, Gloria from Mexico to Aspen, Colorado. Yet her father let him know before that he doesn't want him close to his daughter but still he follows her and meets Tom Keating at the first night there. They meet here and there until Lee decides to meet an old army friend, Budd who likes teens but Lee needs money and so the two of them go to another friend who smuggles 'live lobster'. No idea here. Anyway, with time, Lee can afford a house and Gloria promises him to get married one night in two days at a specific time. Lee keeps waiting and waiting until her brother Jon arrives, telling him that his sister and father are in Germany right now. Well, Lee doesn't take it well and gets drunk and a bit crazy. However, Angel, Budd's girlfriend appears and seduces Lee but still he agrees to take her home on his bike. It doesn't end well and they separate. Later on, a drunk Budd comes and convinces Lee to teach Angel a lesson but Lee has still common sense and doesn't want to. Still, he is in the car and hears what Budd does to Angel - until the screams end. All this Lee explains to his lawyer, Tom Keating, back in jail and in 1964 where it all started and this part ends. An intro and some pics I could find: Some pics might spoil but I'll go on looking a bit tomorrow! Well, then comes Part 2!!

Neither did I. I was just born this year but I found a trailer earlier on Youtube - like the one I posted and it got me interested. And well, here we are.

No pics this time. I looked for them but nothing here. Two things I forgot to mention yesterday: 1) We always begin with a talk show where Tom Keating talks about this trial and how it went on with him and Bishop. 2) The intro: All characters and events are fictional. Aspen, however, does exist! *grins* Additional cast: Anthony Franciosa - Alex Budde Onto Part 2: This part mainly deals with the trial of Lee Bishop. Well, Aspen is a little town and all people know each other. So, the defence and DA lawyer, along with the judge, Kendrick, made an agreement to see Bishop guilty - or in other words, to make the trial short. Keating doesn't agree with this and well, he's kicked out for the time being. In the trial, Lee's friend, Budd, tells a completely different story which doesn't make sense at all, yet he has a witness which was bought by their old boss, Alex. To make matters more complicated, Alex is in love with Gloria and also in business with her father. At the defence law office, it's also complicated: Because of the agreement and the false statement, Bishop is sent to death and now in Colorado prison and the old men still say they did it right but they did not, says Tom Keating. So he threatens them to get his own office opened and to work on Lee's new hearing but after meanwhile 15 months, Lee's losing all hope. Well, to make matters worse for him, Tom tells him that Gloria has married Alex and he'll be back before December 12. And he meets with Kit again who tells him not to threaten her father-in-law and that she made a mistake by marrying Max. But in the end, Lee asks the guard for a Christmas card. Very twisted case meanwhile. Oh, btw, in the end credit there was John DeLancie mentioned but I didn't recognize him. Well, he was only in this episode. Next time I'll take a closer look!
