Recognize a lot of these actors. Peter Donat played Fox Mulder's dad on The X-Files.

Yeah, so did I. Mary Crosby and Jean Simmons met again in "North & South", Robyn Douglass became Lt. Beaumont in "Houston Knights" and Melanie Griffith met Don Johnson and went to the cinema.

Yep. And tonight I've got The Killing Hour or The Clairvoyant from 1982! You can find it under both titles. Cast: Perry King - Paul 'Mac' McCormack Norman Parker - Det. Larry Weeks Elizabeth Kemp - Virna Nightbourne Kenneth McMillan - Detective Cullum Jon Polito - Detective Sporaco Joe Morton - Detective Rich and many more Story: The NYPD fishes out a dead nude body in handcuffs whereas a young artist student sees this while drawing something else. More dead bodies with handcuffs are found, and soon two very different characters come together to solve this case. A cop named Larry Weeks who is a comedian as well and talk show host Paul 'Mac' McCormack who wants to help Larry as well. Soon, Mac gives the killer the name "The Handcuff Killer" and Larry into trouble with his superiors. However, both men get more involved when Virna, a young artist student, enters their lives by showing them her drawings. The killing continues still, and Mac as well as Virna are threatened. Larry puts Virna into Mac's apartment for safety, yet at the police he soon realizes that Mac has to be involved - and he is. In a final showdown on a roof, Mac gets killed and Larry with Virna walk out. Some pictures: Very suspense, and well, it got me hooked. Never would have thought of this outcome. Surprise, surprise! Phew. Very recommended! Tomorrow then another year to move - into 1983!

You should watch it if you can, Tim. Note: Since I start a series on Monday, I'll end with the movies on Saturday. On Sunday I watch one again I like. Otherwise, I'd start the mini series from 1987 - with four parts.

Well, here we go again. Tonight I watched The Hasty Heart from 1983! Was obviously a remake from a movie with the same title from 1949. Cast: Gregory Harrison - Sgt. Lachlen McLachlen Perry King - Yank Cheryl Ladd - Nurse Margaret and many more Story: In Burma, 1944, a group of five men have formed a tight knot with the Colonel and their sister assigned, Margaret. All names they go by come from the country they are from like Yank from the USA, Kiwi from New Zealand and so on. However, this group is disturbed as a Scottish Sergeant comes in, not knowing of his deadly prognosis but they do. Yet as they start to call him Lachie and all, after some time, he opens up and starts a friendship with all of them but especially Yank. Lachie also falls in love with the nurse and well, after the Colonel tells him the truth about his condition, the Scottish pride is back. When all want to say good bye, because Yank also has to leave, Blossom wants to give him a gift, Lachie freaks out and so does Yank. They have a shouting match, yet Lachie still leaves but soon realizes he wants to stay. Still Yank has to go. Not that much pictures (again): Note: This movie got Perry King a Golden Globe nomination! As said before, tomorrow then a step to 1986, yet on Sunday a repeat of my own choice!
EDIT: As "Yank" Perry King stutters a bit but still, all actors impressed as all action takes place in one room! Wow!

I've also known Cheryl Ladd from "Charlie's Angels". Gregory Harrison from a hospital series with Pernell Roberts, yet I can't remember the title right now.

Yeah, a few hours later I remembered the title as well.
Tonight we were Stranded from 1986! Right after Riptide ended, so to speak. Cast: Loni Anderson - Stacy Tweed Perry King - Nick MacKenzie Elaine Stritch - Maxine Joel Brooks - Phil William Hickey - Mr. Pierson Janet DuBois - Bettina and many more Story: Two former advertising partners are now arch-rivals at two different companies, yet they still meet each other in the same building. Stacy Tweed can't let go of the past whenever she sees Nick MacKenzie, her former partner and lover. A new campaign for a cosmetic lipstick, made by Mr. Pierson who loves competition, brings the two together - on a plane, island, balloon and later then stranded on an island, Tahiti. At first, the sparks flow of who's better and all, yet after some time they fell slowly in love with each other again - and some serious struggle with food, building a house and a thunderstorm. Well, Stacy and Nick come together again whereas Stacy then discovers they are on a holiday island where tourists are. After returning to New York, there are some changes and Nick and Stacy form an agency again. Some pictures again: I find it hilarious that Mr. King's character is named "Nick" right after the Riptide ended. Too funny! Anyway, as said I end here for the moment. When I start again, I may have both mini series (one I already have) and can watch those before it's back with the movies.

As I rewatched "A Different Story" now, Peter Donat played also with. He was the rich man named Douglas Sills who brought Albert to America. Meaning he and Perry King met again in "Golden Gate". When I'm back here, I'll start with the two mini series. The first one from 1981 and the second one from 1987.
