New day, new season, new episode! Episode 49 "Starting Over" Which turns out to be quite literally. Mick and Joey have sold their shop and just enjoy surfing for the time being. However, right on time they get a cal from an old friend of Mick's, Jay Cassidy (David Graf, btw) who works as a realtor and bounty hunter at the same time in Los Angeles. Joey now has a car and Jay gives them the tip to go to an old friend who has a beach house to live in, maybe. Ms Grace Warner is pleased with the two of them and soon the Barretts enter the private eye business. They go after a young man named Trevor who says to have accidently killed a man but well, it was not an accident. Yet Trevor has a rich father and you can guess what happened. After some trouble they find the man and his father and catch him which earned a 10,000$ cash - for each of them. Grace is so kind and offers them the beach house for free if they change their clothes as well. No beach clothes here!! P.S. Again slightly new intro, shorter hair and a bit more grown up, I guess. lol Tomorrow then Hot freight for the Carribean. I know, normally the other way around but today it just happened.

The P.S. after the statement. But I put it before. That's what I meant though.

Ah yes, officer Tackleberry from Police Academy. That's where I knew David Graf from. I never saw him in anything else actually.

He did a few Star Trek appearances. He died of a heart attack in 2001, at just 50 (five years younger than I am now).

Up until his untimely death, he was a pretty busy actor.

I can imagine. Episode 50 "Deep Blue C Notes" Mick and Joey observe a guy who they should bring back to L.A., yet at the same time they got another call which Joey then answers alone. He should take care of a yacht until the owner wants to sail it to the Carribean. Anyway, Joey gets distracted by a beautiful woman named Pat who designs interiors for boat. Not really but she invites Joey to a Greek restaurant when two of her companions take a little trip with the yacht and damage it. When Joey returns that night, the yacht is gone, yet the next morning when he and Mick wanna check this again, it's back but slightly different. Bloody, some damage and two extra suitcases with money. As it turns out, Pat wants that money and took it from a guy named Manetti who then takes Pat and Joey as hostages and argues with Mick over the exchange. Mick enlists the police help and their plan works perfectly. Mick and Joey clean the boat when the new owner appears - with a female crew and well, suddenly, the Barretts don't want to leave the boat. Tomorrow then The Big Flash Car Gang. Oh boy, what a word!

Episode 51 "The Booster Club"
Mick and Joey follow Grace to a charity event, yet the park service has a second profession there. They copy the car keys secretly and then follow up the next day to steal the cars. One of the guys is playing a double game and kills his leader with a car whereas Grace tells the boys that some of her friends have also gotten their cars stolen. They divide the work with checking each other service there but Joey has gone a step ahead and applied for a job in the park service. Telling his brother is not easy but they come up with a plan, yet Joey is quickly discovered since he used his own bike to get there. But Mick is never far away and the police is also already after the gang. They got all men finally, because another member has decided to step out and call the police. Unfortunately, Grace has lost her Rolls Royce but she might buy another one later again. Joey then goes surfing and Mick kisses a woman.
Tomorrow then Two Millions for a Life.

What else? Episode 52 "Killshot" There's a volleyball game on the beach and a young woman named is Chris is pressured by her father to win, yet her father had also let other players down who want revenge now. Chris flees to her friend, Scott (Brian Krause, btw) at a hotel when a call from her friend, Jill, tells her that her father had hired two private detectives, Mick and Joey, to find her. Well, not long after that call, both Chris and Scott are kidnapped but as it turns out, Scott is part of the kidnapping team, wanting 2 million Dollar from Chris's Dad. Mick decides to get the police involved and their plan works nearly perfectly, yet at the last moment Scott and Chris can flee in Scott's car. Mick and Joey nearly have them but the FBI stop them. They follow the trail and find the pair and with some imitation, they get Scott away from Chris and give him to the police. It seems that Chris's Dad has also learned from his mistake and let her decide what to do. The show is from 1996, so Brian Krause's act here was before 'Charmed'. Tomorrow then High Tech and Happy End. Whatever that means.
