Aha. New day, new episode! Episode 10 "How much is that body in the window?" When a high school girl gymnast dies of steroid abuse, the Jump Street team goes undercover at her high school to find the sellers of these drugs. Judy tutors Jody, another gymnastics girl who knew the girl who died and who needs tutoring to keep her grades up. And Penhall goes undercover as a jock to get close to Mike Ogletree, a football player who's also suspected of using the drugs and knowing the source. Meanwhile, Hanson wants to become a Big Brother: a volunteer who spends time as a male role model with a boy who doesn't have a father (Hanson lost his own father when still young). But when he asks Penhall for a letter of recommendation, Penhall says Hanson shouldn't do this and ends up writing a negative letter, which causes a rift between Hanson and Penhall. On the positive side, through his Big Brother application procedure Hanson meets his new girlfriend, Amy. (taken from here again) Well, a big sport issue in the 1980ies as it was found out later. No guest stars worth mentioned. Some pics: Three gifs for this episode: I'll leave it here again. Might not be the right order, as always. lol See you tomorrow. After S&L's finale!

Again a Christmas episode in Summer. *sighs* Episode 11 "Christmas in Saigon" It's Christmas time at Jump Street, and Judy's going away to Chicago to celebrate, while Hanson's going to take his girlfriend Amy to meet his mother. But at the team's Christmas Eve party, an Internal Affairs officer walks in on them to drop the bomb on them that Ioki never legally had that name, but stole someone's identity to get into the police force. In light of the investigation that follows, Ioki opens up to the rest of the team and tells them he actually is Vietnamese, lost his parents in The Vietnam War, and how he escaped his native and (at the time) war-ridden country to immigrate into the U.S. (taken from here again) This is definitely Harry's episode and his background. Naturally the actor's life influenced the role too. And in the end, there's a Christmas carol, along with cast and crew of the show! Guest stars: Marcia Rodd as Margaret Hanson Dorothy Parke as Amy Pearson Some pics: According to the original air dates, another one followed two days later. We'll see then. See you tomorrow!

True, or any other country with war. Episode 12 "Fear and Loathing with Russell Buckins" Hanson (and by extension, Penhall) gets into trouble with the police department for participating in illegal street races while undercover when he wasn't supposed to. Hanson and Penhall both are sent back to the police academy. But then Hanson's friend from the past, Russell Buckins, shows up. Instead of going to the police academy like he's supposed to, Hanson impulsively takes off with Russell to go to the wedding of Debbie, a former flame of Hanson's. Russell is pressing Hanson to seduce Debbie before she marries. Meanwhile, Penhall, who does go back to police academy like he's supposed to, gets assigned a jerkass partner, and Ioki and Hoffs are trying to find Hanson. (taken from here again) Hehe, a belated youth with sins for Hanson - rebellious, alcohol, fighting with a bear and getting a tattoo. lol Penhall suffers back at the academy and he does really. Still, strange to see Hanson act this way. Guest star: Angelo Tiffe as Russell Buckins Some pics: So, that's it. Can't promise yet if I watch one tomorrow since there's a big company's anniversary (belated) in the city of Jena. Haven't made a decision yet. Until then!

So I didn't go to this event, obviously. Way too cool today. Episode 13 "A Big Disease with a Little Name" Hanson gets an unusual assignment: Harley, a teenager with AIDS, is being bullied and having his civil rights violated because of his disease, so police supervision is necessary to ensure the boy's safety. Initially uncomfortable with this, Hanson bonds with the boy when he realizes they're not so different. Also, Doug Penhall's ex Dorothy suddenly shows up and moves in with him—at a very inconvenient time for him, since Penhall has just gotten the hots for another new girl. Still considered one of the best and most iconic episodes of the show, for both outstanding acting by Johnny Depp and guest star Phillip Tanzini, and its sensitive (and at the time, accurate) portrayal of an AIDS sufferer at the height of the AIDS panic. (taken from here again) AIDS - the issue of the 1980ies since Rock Hudson revealed it to the world. The research and meds are better but it's still out there. Some pics: I stop here again. Stay tuned for another episode tomorrow!!

True. Episode 14 "Chapel of Love" It's Valentine's day but nobody, except Judy, of the Jump Street team has a date. Hanson is being grumpy about hating Valentine day, and is having a fight with his girlfriend Amy about this. Hanson, Penhall, Ioki, Fuller and Sal decide to spend the evening together playing poker. While doing so, each tells the story of their "worst date ever". 1) Sal was caught by the father of his then-girlfriend when they were 16 and trying to have sex; they never got to that, but were forced to marry by the father (and still are happily married). 2) Penhall tells how he once had a Two Timer Date with two women—twins, no less—which got out of hand. Then he admits he made that story up because he "never had a bad date in his life". 3) Fuller tells a more serious story, about how he cheated on his wife with a police officer co-worker while on police duty and was caught for that, and how this ended his marriage. 4) Judy (who by now has returned to Jump Street from her date) tells how horrible her date (on that very same night) was: the guy was doing karaoke but was a very bad singer. 5) Hanson begrudgingly tells his "worst date" story last: he went to a Valentine high school ball as a 16-year-old. His father, who was a police officer on duty that night, was murdered by a man robbing a cafe that night, and at the end of his date, 16-year-old Hanson found that out. After Hanson's story, everybody's shocked. He says he's o.k. though, and the whole team goes out to have a beer with each other in a bar. (taken from here again) Aired on Valentine's day in 1988 but is also Episode 14 of S2. Fitting! Guest star: Kent McCord as Tom Hanson Sr. (the only one I know) + very briefly Don S. Davis Some pics: More I couldn't find! See you tomorrow!

Here we go again. Episode 15 "I'm OK, You Need Work" Hanson is contacted by Maureen, the sister of Kenny Wackerly, whom Hanson arrested for drug possession in the pilot episode. Maureen claims Kenny is being abused in the "clinic" he has been put into by their parents (it supposedly is a clinic to help teenagers with drug abuse/addiction, but in reality only a scam to get insurance money from their parents, while abusing the patients). Hanson wants to help Maureen and Kenny, but Fuller firmly tells him to stay out of it. Hanson then decides to let himself check into the clinic to investigate, but it is not on official Jump Street duty. The clinic turns out to be even worse than Hanson expected in its treatment of its patients; and when Kenny dies trying to escape, Hanson realises his life is in danger and he's all on his own. Meanwhile, the rest of the Jump Street team notice that Hanson's missing, so they go look for him. (taken from here again) Guest stars: Brandon Douglas as Kenny Weckerle (from the pilot) Christina Applegate as Tina Some pics: Well, that's it. More I couldn't find. Stay tuned for a new one tomorrow!

Very briefly before that. Episode 16 "Orpheus 3.3" Hanson's girlfriend Amy is shot dead right in front of him by a convenience store robber. Complicating matters is that Hanson was actually planning to break up with Amy that night. Following her death, Hanson sinks into a spiral of depression and obsession over her death. In the end, he pulls himself out of it, and decides to find and arrest the robber/murderer. (taken from here again) Wow, Hanson turns into a maniac to find out if he could have prevented Amy's death. In his daydreams he sees himself as James Bond and more when he only wants to find the killer. Guest stars: Art Hindle as Stafford Frank Annese as Angelo Allan Miller as Dr. Enlow Ian Tracey as Angelo's buddy Here were more known faces around. Some pics: Some gifs to this: I'll leave it here. Might not be the right order (as always). lol See you tomorrow!
