Defunctland came out with a documentary recently where he sought the identity of the composer of the Disney Channel Theme that had been in use since 2002. Here is the full documentary:
Also, some minor spoilers (do not read unless you have seen the documentary/don't mind being spoiled): Contrary to popular belief, Disney Channel had been rebranded to have its own "theme" or jingle on September 30, 2002, not October 7, 2002 as widely speculated. These are corroborated by archived recordings of Disney Channel broadcasts from September 30th, October 4th and October 6th of 2002 respectively.
