I know Jordan thinks he's ready to go further and be more full-on in superhero duties like Superman but he also needs to becareful or stuff could go wrong and people can get hurt etc.
Yes, it could take some years for Jordan to get to the top as it took Clark years of training before he became Superman and even then he made mistakes but learned from them which Jordan will have to do as well.
Unfortunately, things don't happen all at once so Jordan will need patience like Clark until he knows and can do everything although I understand Lois telling Jordan to save Superman also if he's in trouble then.

Shame its not on-air this week but I guess a 2 week wait isn't too bad compared to what we've experienced before.

I agree, given the CW's past record.

And we're back from out short break.
The Sophie plot was a terrible idea.
The emotional moments need time to land, and the main four need to have more moments together.
I loved Clark’s realizations about his feelings. Loved the talks with Lois. I like how Lois has befriended Pia and that’s all going to be a mess when they figure out she’s Bruno’s wife.
Jordan’s training was great and him helping Clark.
I liked the investigation and experiments heating up confirmation that it’s Pia behind the mask.

The whole cancer thing it's really well done, and I'm impressed it's shown in a character such as Lois Lane. Many of us have had relatives going through that, and having a representation in a show like this means a lot.
We now know who Bruno's wife.
The Cushing's plot line was just there, but at least, it now has more to do with the Kent's.

Another great episode. I do appreciate and like that, they show that Superman can be so vulnerable, and not in the usual way of Green K. Clark breaking down to Lois about how scared he is of cancer just got me right in the heart. I cried! Jonathan may have been left out of the Kent action this week but his talk with Sophie was great. He opened up about his own doubts and failings, letting himself be vulnerable in order to reach out to a little girl who was also feeling alone. So touching.

Poor Clark is facing an enemy that his power cannot defeat, the cancer that Lois has. He tries to avoid it, but, in the end, he can't.
Nice that Jordan was able to come to the rescue. However, he still has much to learn.
That lady that Lois befriended is also sick with cancer. She makes references to a husband, but never names him. Turns out said husband is Bruno Mainheim himself. So it seems that Bruno is not just doing this for the evilz, rather he's trying to save his own wife.
And we have the Cushing drama. Lana discovers that Kyle and Chrissy have been sleeping together. Now the two of them decide to go public. Truth be told, while the Cushing stuff is okay, it takes time away from the main story line.

I thought the scene between Jonathan and Sophie was really beautiful. Its the first time we've heard Jon actually talk about his previous screw-ups, and it was interesting actually hearing from him that he knows he is lower down in the family hierarchy. Case in point Jordan and Clark get home after saving the day and instantly (accidentally) trivialize Jon's accomplishment, its sad but effective, and it really makes me wonder where his character is going if the writers are self-aware enough to include that in dialogue.

Wow! So not only is Onomatopoeia Lois' new hospital friend, she's also Manhiem wife or love interest. I really did think she was unconnected to the main villain. But now it all makes sense.
I loved Jon's scene with Sophie. It was really touching.

Bruno Manheim's actions make sense now. He has a personal investment.

So, update was there on time.
Too much drama for Clark and Lois. Lois is befriending with a woman with the same problem, yet there's a secret which turns out to be right, regarding Superman. Jonathan is clearly feeling left out, along with Sophie when Jordan has all the attention. Though Jonathan is helping Sophie and finds his place in the fire department, in the family it's not getting easier for him.
Lana finding out about Kyle and Chrissy. I'd have thought that would break them but obviously I was wrong. *sighs* Jordan still has much to learn, yet his powers differ clearly from his Dad but for Clark this was a wake-up call at seeing his son down. Well, there could be trouble between the brothers coming up.
So, Manheim's wife Pia is behind this strange woman. Interesting.
Can't wait for next week, hopefully.

So Bruno's wife could be a third villain of this season besides her husband and Lex who'll arrive sometime later?
Obviously, the coming weeks will show us what happens.
