Another good episode.
Nice to see John and Nat again, they've been absent for the past two episodes. It wouldn't kill them to let the Cushing family go MIA and sit an episode out once in a while.
LOL Nat's taking after her mom and John's like "Yeah I look fine this place is organized" lol
Bruno is such a good husband. I'm enjoying the backstory with him and his wife. I like it.
Lana and John do have chemistry.
I know Lex is going to show up at some point. But I can't help but wonder if he's pulling the strings behind the scenes. I wonder if perhaps Pela cheated on Bruno with Lex and that's who Mateo is.
WOW, Peia's been working for that other guy all that time.
And there's Mateo. Bruno's son.

I had a strong feeling that indeed Mateo was Bruno son. I really liked this episode.

So Peia was the one who killed Mozie, not Bruno as everyone assumed. Plus, she's a meta. Mateo is Bruno's and Peia's son. So many twists and turns in this episode. Oh was it good.

This season has been stellar.
I do wonder what'll happen between Lana and John Henry, the new romance with Kyle and Chrissy, and Natalie has her new boyfriend for Metropolis.
Lois has her cancer treatments, we now know who Onomatopoeia is and Bruno has Bizarro and mentioned Lex Luthor.
I wonder if Lex was the one working behind the scenes. I wonder if Lois' cancer is due to Lex. Is it possible he gave her cancer on purpose. Just throwing it out there, in the hopes that Superman will take Lex's cure later to his own benefit. I remember on Supergirl that Lex was sick and wanted Lena to help him.

Lois is getting Sicker. My heart felt for her. Clark stays with Lois in the bathroom while she vomits. That all really was so heartbreaking. She's going in to have her fourth treatment. The boys knew something is off. John Henry prepares for a meet-and-greet lunch with Natalie's new boyfriend. Chrissy confronts Lana at the Diner.
I liked that We get a flashback to Mannheim and his wife dining out.
Jon implied that Clark doesn't care as much about Lois as he does and Clark sends the boys home.
In another flashback I liked Mannheim wants to make a deal with Lex to leave Hobbs Bay alone.
I was so emotional again when Clark and Lois talk about how serious the cancer diagnosis is. They decided that using Kryptonian tech wouldn't be fair to the people of Earth, If they did it for Lois, they would feel obligated to give it to Earth but who knows what they would do with it in other ways.
I liked seeing Jon and Clark watch the fireworks Lana shot off.
In a final flashback, we got a twist. we see how Pia took out the other gang members and thus put Bruno on top. In a final reveal, we learn Mateo is Mannheim's son. WOW!

I have my tissue box on standby. I keep crying every episode. Brilliant acting, directing, and storylines. I love this show!
Micheal Bishop acted his heart out in this episode. Truly a worthy successor to the mantle of Johnathan.
Also, I loved this episode, the twist was good. So Bruno and Pia's son is Mateo.
So maybe Lois will be cured by modern medicine. They made a very valid point about using Kryptonian technology. It’s too serious a condition to just make it magically be cured.

I enjoyed the episode.
Funny, It would've been an actual twist if Matteo WASN'T Bruno's son lol
Bruno and Peia's backstory made me more interested in them than I was before - and it's interesting that she had her powers before Superman's blood. So she must be a meta-human.
The Chrissy and Sarah story was just whatever really. I was more invested in the other stories this week.

I guessed who Mateo's parents might be. I was right. I did like the look at Bruno and Peia's background and how they got together. Puts a whole new spin on things.
Lois and Clark now know who Peia is. In a way, both Clark and Bruno are in the same boat, both facing the loss of the love of their lives.
Jonathan and Jordan head to the Fortress, but Lara tells him that Kryptonian tech might kill Lois as much as help her. Clark later says that, even if it was successful, it would be selfish to use it on Lois alone, while leaving others, such as Peia, to die.
The boys reaction to finding the End of Life document was believable. They were right to be angry that this was kept from them.
I loved that fireworks bit at the end.

That was the first episode of Superman & Lois without Superman, and it was fantastic from start to finish! Proving you don't need Superman in an episode at all. I hardly noticed until the episode was over I must admit.
Loved everything with Clark, Lois, Bruno, and Peia, as usual, and we got reporter Clark!!!
And we also got SO much with Jon in this episode: him talking to Lara at the fortress, him taking the initiative to find out what his parents are hiding, him having a nice one-on-one conversation with Clark where Clark finally acknowledged that he's half-Kryptonian.
I loved the moment with Jon and Jordan at Lois' bedside.
The B-plots for the episode were good too.
I did like the pairings with John/Lana, Sarah/Chrissy, and Nat/Matteo all at the movies. Lots of nice bonding moments.
The twist with Matteo being Bruno and Peia's son was predictable, but not a big issue for me. I kinda expected it to be honest.

This episode seemed good from what I've read.
It's interesting finding out Bruno's wife is the villain and not Bruno himself because that's whom shows normally has as the villain then.
Is the man Pelai's working for Lex perhaps?
Does Bruno just want to help his sick wife get better then but doesn't know what she's doing behind the scenes? If so I feel sorry for him.
I wonder how Lana and John's relationship would turn out if they got together. Assuming there already friends could Kyle become jealous perhaps? Who knows then?
It's good that Kryptonian technology can't fix Lois not in her having cancer which is sad obviously but in that being used as a quick way out so the family have to dig in and find something else naturally.

I didn't even realize "Superman" was missing from the episode until I just read Trinity comment LOL. Great episode. I particularly liked the family moments between Jon and Clark, they don't happen too often. I was impressed by Michael Bishop's acting in those scenes. It also poses an interesting condundrum, Clark all but admitted they have tech that could help Lois, and that if it worked he'd feel he'd have to share it with the world, but Bruno asked him just how far he would go.....I think that's where we're headed. Lois will get worse and eventually Clark will have no choice but to use the tech because she'd be dead either way. I did find it to be an odd writing choice, seemed a little out of character for Clark to knowingly have technology that could help people and choose to not distribute it to humankind. Yes it might be dangerous, but proper scientists could probably adapt it to work fine after some experimentation.
Nice to see John and Nat back. I'm somewhat enjoying their storylines this season - simple but relatable. I'm glad Lana didn't freak out over Chrissy and that Sara was more accepting of her. Odd how Sophie vanished, I'd have thought she would have enjoyed the firework show as well.

Lara said that using Kryptonian tech on Lois could kill her. So there is that risk as well.
