I liked this episode. Although it did take our Drew Crew a minute to make the connection between Brie and the production of the new movie filming in Horseshoe Bay, which was a remake of a ’90s classic slasher titled Longhook. I suspect a wink to I Know What You Did Last Summer with Jennifer Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Geller.
I liked this mystery and how Nancy pieces it all together. Jim Stanley, the original director, liked to prank his cast and crew, and one of those crew members was a young Brie, whose house they were filming in. Nancy knew exactly what was happening as she experienced it personally, so she sent an SOS to George and Nick, who were one step ahead of her and at Brie’s house.

So that's what that water does, in restores bad memories that were suppressed. And what is this "Black Door" that suppressed said memories.
Nice to see Nancy and her birth father, Ryan Hudson, working together. He threw himself right in. And Nancy needed something to take her mind off Ace.
Bess got a bit part in the movie. Loved when she tried out an American accent. Of course, she pretended to me an American, until Nancy uncovered her true identity as being British.
Ned and George make a good team. Looks like Ned will be running for Brie's position on the town council, now that Brie has stepped down.
Not liking this new lady cop. Is she gonna be what TV Tropes calls an Obstructionist Bureaucrat, someone who will always get in the way? Lady, you don't like the supernatural, then get the heck out of Horseshoe Bay!
They say the year is 2020. What?? So, the Drew Crew has been through all these events in just one year!? WHEWWWWWW!!
