Early Life
Not much is known of this demon prior to his first appearance, other than at some point he took possession of the local professor in Burkitsville, Indiana.
Season One
In 'Scarecrow' - The Demon Professor posed as the professor assisted Bobby and Jo who provides them with information on a Norse god, the Vanir, which the locals of Scandinavian descent imported with them. However his real purpose for being in town was to keep tabs on Dean for Yellow Eyes. However later, they are knocked conscious by the townsfolks who plan to sacrifice them.
The Professor then confronted Dean in his hotel room, revealing his demonic nature telling him that even the townsfolks are all fooled about him being a demon, and was easily able to keep his cover hidden. Dean manages to escape through a window from the Professor when the townsfolks arrived.
Yellow Eyes then sends him on a new mission to eliminate John.
In "Darkness Falls" - The Professor had been hunting down John for sometime, and tracks him down on his way to Beacon Hill in Boston. The Professor managed to knock John's car off the side of the road, right into a tree. The professor steps out of his van, telling John to give up, as he won't be getting to Lily. When the professor looks in John's car he finds no trace of him.
Later, John runs into the Professor again when he tried to find Lily, and finds him with another fellow loyal follower and Yellow Eyes son Tom. Feeling they are about to be killed by John and Jim, Tom and the Professor manage to escape just in time, as other demons smoke out of their hosts as John and Edgar move past them.
In "Salvation" - When John makes the trade with the Colt for Caleb's life in Lincoln, the Professor is with Meg and Tom. In anger, The Professor attacks John saying that it is obvious the gun isn't the real Colt, as Meg pulls the Professor aside and to tell John to give them the real Colt and no more of his friends have to die.
In "Devil's Trap" - The Professor was nearby on order to guard the area so his plan to have Sam and Dean rescue John which he now possesses his body to escape for his attack against them. He watches in horror with another demon further down the street, knowing now that Tom and Meg are gone, and he's likely next, he decides to take off.
The Professor has his biggest mission yet, when he is the one who slams a huge truck into the Impala to kill John, Dean and Sam, smashing it and hopefully killing all three in the process.
Season Two
In "In My Time of Dying" - Which picks up moments before season 1 ended, sees the possessed Professor climb out of his truck and walks over to the Impala. Sam wakes up inside just as the professor pulls the door right off the car. "Get back," Sam yells, "Or I'll kill you, I swear to God." "You won't," the professor responds. "You're saving that bullet for someone else." Sam pulls back the hammer. "You wanna bet?" The demon smiles, but a couple of seconds later, it leaves the man's body. Presumably he reclaims this body sometime later.
In "Everybody Loves a Clown" and "Bloodlust" - Ash had been tracking the Professor and found a report machining his description. Dean took it personally hoping that this demon gets what's coming to him for hurting baby.
John follows the lead of his whereabouts to Salt Lake City, with no luck.
In "The Return" The Professor made himself known for the first time in months, when he was sent on a mission to kill every remaining survivor of the situation in Oregon. The Professor was working with Duane. They kidnapped Missouri and Dr. Lee. But the two are rescued by Dean and Sam.
John shoots a bullet through the head of the Professor, killing the human host of the real professor, but obviously the demon is fine. They knock him out Sam says they don't have time to perform an exorcism on him and the Professor, besides the Professor is now dead the human host, and Dean hearing the Professor is back, blames him for nearly killing his family and destroying baby wants to settle a score with him. But Sam tells Dean, he knows he wants too, but they don't have time. The Professor and Duane awaken when everybody clears out.
In "Born Under a Bad Sign" The Professor is assuming another cover. This time the boss of an It Company, who calls Charlie Bradbury into his office. Impressed by her hacking skills, when really working on orders by Yellow Eyes. She is tasked to hack Ash’s hard drive within the next three days, otherwise she will be fired. She gets to work, hacking into the drive, which sends the e-mail to the Roadhouse.
Eventually Charlie learns what's up and leaves and packs town, staying with Missouri, for protection in case he comes looking for her. However the Winchesters are worried that worried, the Professor is working for YED to keep tabs on them and their friends and the Roadhouse.
In "The Spirit of Vegas" It is learnt that The Professor has not been seen since he bailed not long after Charlie left Minnesota who is currently with Missouri learning more of the ropes of being a hunter. Jody was keeping tabs on anything on him with her resources on finding him, and is now been put on alert so if he shows up in any police reports matching his description they’ll know.
The current whereabouts of the Professor following his departure from Minnesota are still unknown.
