Tim: You will now see why I needed a certain spell but I made a variation of it. Got you?
19. The Ultimate BattleONE WEEK LATERIn Billie's room, the two Jenkins sisters coached their mentor into being the Charmed Ones' father. The real one had been caught recently and was trapped not so far away. The invitation for the weddings had also arrived already and so it was time to act.
"So how do I look?" Dumain asked and looked at himself in the mirror. "I may look like him but the boys at least will figure it out. And what then?"
"Don't worry so much," Christy said and waved his concern away. "It'll go well. You can take care of the boys while we'll attack the three sisters when they're going to get married. All easy."
Billie remained silent but thought about the act they had done to catch Victor. She shook her head slightly and tried not to think about his current situation.
FLASHBACK
Dumain had shimmered the two sisters into Victor's loft and instantly knocked the man unconscious which confused the two. "We need him but he shouldn't know it's us," he only apologized shrugging.
"If you say so," Billie commented quietly and looked over the man. "Anyway, what about regular visits to his family and from them?"
"They'll never know. Once I cast your spell and glamor into him." He rolled his eyes. "I take the man while you two work on some papers for me. Hurry up!"
Billie rolled her eyes but did as told. Her older sister helped her, yet it was quickly done. Dumain then shimmered all four of them away—and brought the man into a storage room close by.
END OF FLASHBACKLooking up, Billie saw how Dumain changed into Victor Bennett and smiled with courage at her. He worked on his voice still since he wanted it to be perfect. "Are you sure you can trick the kids?" she asked once more. "Chris had already figured me out!"
Dumain's growl was loud enough to scare anyone away. "That's why I change into Victor and the boys trust their Grandpa. I will be welcomed with open arms in the Manor. Don't worry!"
Christy ordered a high five from her younger sister which she did. "Yeah, don't worry, Billie. Once Dumain got the boys, we can attack the Charmed Ones and vanquish them—for good. You'll see."
Billie sighed but nodded. She'd go along with them but some doubts had begun to grow. Yet there was no turning back at this point and she had no help either. It seemed that it was going to be a long day for her.
All of a sudden, a mobile rang and startled the three. Dumain quickly answered it, "Oh. Hi Phoebe. Of course, I come. I'll be thrilled to witness this, even for Paige." He grinned more now. "Naturally I take care of my grandkids during the ceremony. Sure, I'll come right away."
"Show time," he announced and shimmered away to an alley close to the Manor.
Billie and Christy Jenkins could only wait for the signal. If Dumain had the kids, they'd know and then attack.
MANORRinging the doorbell, Dumain was met with a very pleased Piper who kissed him on his cheek. "Oh Dad, so nice you could come and help me," she offered smiling. "Phoebe and Paige are nervous wrecks and their men are not helping either, especially for Leo."
"Oh," the older man simply stated stunned. "I can imagine. What about my grandkids?"
"Well, they're already done." She sighed and let him in finally. "Come in, Dad. By the way, it was hard to get them in their nice little tuxedos but once we had one in, the other followed suit. Or......the boys had looked at their Dad only." Piper laughed and hid her snicker. "Sorry."
"It's okay." Dumain looked directly at her. "I take it you want me to take care of these two, right?"
"Yeah, but after the ceremony," Piper offered smiling. "Leo and I are the best man as well as woman and the boys are the ring boys; Wyatt for Phoebe and Chris for Paige. You busy them only. It'll be easy."
'Yeah, who'd have thought' Dumain thought and asked curiously, "When do we go? And I'm sure the boys would love to see me, don't you think?"
Piper nodded and yelled, "Wyatt! Chris! Grandpa is here! And no running in the house, please!"
Quiet footsteps were heard and both boys looked with their heads around the corner. Spotting their Grandpa, Wyatt ran to him and dragged his little brother with. However, two inches before the man, Chris stopped his big brother, sensing something amiss with his Grandpa.
Piper looked at her baby boy confused. "Peanut, what's wrong? It's only Grandpa and you love him more than anything." But Chris shook his head stubbornly. "Right. Leo, can you speak with him?"
"Of course," her husband agreed, kissing her briefly on her lips. "If you go ahead already, we'll follow then suit, right buddy?" His son nodded. "Alright. Don't worry so much, Piper."
His wife sighed. "Phoebe, Paige, Coop, Henry! We should go now," she yelled and took Wyatt's hand fast. "Dad, you come also with!" The two couples came down and looked confused at their eldest sister but decided to follow the request. "Alright then, let's drive to the registry office."
Looking as the mass went out of the house, father and son stayed behind. Turning his son to him, Leo knew why Chris was more sensitive here. He himself had been an Elder when the boy had been conceived. "Alright son, what's wrong with Grandpa?"
"Not him," the boy whispered sadly and looked at his Daddy in hope. "Just different."
Leo looked his son in the green eyes. "Can you sense him?" He took him into his arms and waited for the familiar feeling.
Chris bubbled a bit but then again. He sensed his Grandpa somewhere unconscious and orbed with his Dad to the location.
MEANWHILE IN THE CITYThe two young couples were ready and waited for anything to happen, because their older sister was pacing around nervously. Her nephew just watched her fascinated and Dumain in disguise was bored beyond limits. "How long shall we wait, for God's sake?" he asked sighing in the round.
"Until they're done," Piper answered and looked at her Dad as well. Something was off—this told her her gut feeling. "I spoke with the man in the office and he's agreed. So can you, Dad."
"Fine." Dumain crossed his arms over the chest. "What about Wyatt? Shall he play all the time?"
"He shall. We all can busy with him," the mother said sternly and eyed the man with some distrust. "Don't worry, Dad."
"Right." Dumain decided to remain silent for the time being.
The three Charmed Ones shared briefly a look while Coop and Henry had decided to play with Wyatt. But over all of them hang a cloud of suspense.
NOT SO FAR AWAYLeo and his baby son reformed in a dark room. It was too silent as well. He turned to his young son who seemed to be afraid a bit. "It's okay, Chris, I'm here," he soothed the boy. "Can you light up the room like Wyatt does?"
Chris turned to his Daddy confused. "I can?" he whispered asking. "I though.......only Wy."
"You can too. I guide you, okay?" Chris nodded in thanks. "Alright. Put your hands above your head and then let go! Whoosh!"
The boy looked a bit unsure but tried to do as told. To his surprise, it worked and he grinned from ear to ear. "Me—good boy," he announced proudly.
"Indeed," Leo agreed smiling. Looking around, the shock came just as quickly. "Oh my God! Victor, can you hear me? Are you okay?"
The older man groaned as he was shaken by his son-in-law. "Leo? That you?" he asked in total confusion. "What's going on?" He rubbed his head and still closed eyes, rolling onto his back.
Chris orbed onto his Grandpa's chest. "Grandpa? You 'kay?"
"Chrissie, that you?" Victor asked concerned and confused, slowly sitting up with Chris in his arms. "How did you find me, Leo and what's going on, for God's sake? You didn't answer yet."
Leo looked at his father-in-law and his son before sighing. "How can I explain this quickly? You see, Phoebe and Paige are going to get married, officially and you're invited, of course. However, it wasn't you yourself who appeared and Chris sensed it. That's how we're here. Your story?"
Seeing how his Grandpa grabbed his head, Chris decided to take action. He'd seen how Wyatt had done it and so he could as well—as he thought it to be. Putting his hands to the lump, Chris willed the golden light to come and it did. He grinned proudly at his Daddy and Grandpa.
Victor was about to answer when he felt the healing. "What the.....?" he started but saw how Leo's jaw dropped. "Chris healed me, didn't he? But how?"
"I was an Elder and his powers may develop quicker as we thought," Leo explained shrugging. "Never mind. What's your story and why are you here? Kidnapped, obviously."
Victor sighed. "I got a visit from a stranger who warned me about a big battle and he asked me how to take care of my family, especially the boys. Strange though, he knew all about us."
"What did he look like?"
"Normal, and with a long coat. He looked like he'd seen a lot and was very eager to get rid of me." He stopped for a second and looked at his grandson. "By the way, he also and always wanted me to take care of the boys especially—mainly during the wedding."
"That makes sense, I think," Leo said and took his son from Victor, forming an idea in his head. "Hey Chris, can you make your Grandpa invisible? I know it's one of your powers."
"Huh?" Chris said confused and looked at his Daddy if he were crazy. "I not."
"Leo," Victor cut in and laid a hand on his arm. "I don't think it'll work ad hoc. You know that powers will come when not wished." His son-in-law sighed but nodded. "How about we orb in a room close by and I hide in there until I hear my code word? Sounds like a plan, doesn't it?"
"True," Leo agreed immediately. "But you should at least wait until Piper has frozen the whole room." A pause. "I wonder though what this man wants."
"Well, from what I could gather, me taking care of the boys and the three alone, maybe this 'ultimate battle' you talked about," Victor concluded, thinking out loud.
Leo frowned but decided that Victor's idea sounded plausible. "Okay, I think we go with your plan. It does make sense, though I don't like it." Again he turned to his son. "Chris, can you orb us to Mommy and Wy? The aunties are going to get married."
"Uh huh," Chris intoned in a sing-song voice and reached for his Grandpa's hand, ready to orb all of them to the city where his family was.
A few seconds later, they were gone in blue and white lights.
IN THE CITYIn the registry office, Piper was sitting close to the door and waited anxiously for the quietest signal. Her sisters, son and future brother-in-laws remained silent but simply looked at her in sorrow. Her Dad, however, smirked all the time—as if he knew what was going on. Then there was a slight knock on the door. Quickly, she opened the door but said nothing.
Leo gestured her to be quiet. He decided to step in, startling the others but Victor was left outside. His younger son wanted to be let down what he allowed. The husband, meanwhile, whispered into his wife's ear the complicated story and begged her to remain silent.
Someone cleared their throat behind them. "I take it we can start now," said the registrar smiling. "Otherwise, these two young boys might get bored. So, shall we?"
"Yeah, we can," Phoebe said and watched her family closely. "We are bored too. And the ceremony should have been over by now, you know." The middle sister turned to Coop and just waited for any reaction.
"You're right," Piper quickly agreed and guided her family to their seats. The boys were waiting in front of the couples and for the start.
The registrar briefly nodded and the wedding music started. The two couples slowly walked toward the table and the registrar gestured them to sit down. Speaking up, he offered, "We are here gathered to unite these four people to two young couples." He chuckled a bit. "Alright, let's get started."
All smirked at him. "Anyway," the registrar said and cleared his throat, ready to start the ceremony. "At first, we unite Phoebe Halliwell and Coop Valentine. These two found each other by sheer luck and quickly fell in love. And now, they want to continue this for good." He looked at the two of them. "Do you, Phoebe Halliwell, take Coop Valentine as your husband? Do you honor him until life divides you? Say, I do."
"I do."
"Since we lost so much time, I cut this short," the registrar said and turned to the man. "Coop Valentine?"
"I do the same," Coop said grinning. "But instead to Phoebe Halliwell, naturally."
"Right. The rings, please." Wyatt stepped forward and produced the rings. "Thanks, little guy. With these rings, you promise to be there for each other in good and bad times and love until eternity."
"We do," the couple said at once.
"Right," the registrar noted and turned to the other couple now. "Secondly, we are here to unite Paige Matthews and Henry Mitchell as a couple. These two met on street and quickly liked each other. They fell in love, and they want to continue their love for good." He cleared his throat for drama. "Do you, Paige Matthews, take Henry Mitchell as your husband? Do you honor him and love him until life divides you? Say, I do."
"I do."
"Again, to cut it short. Henry Mitchell?"
"I do the same—to Paige Matthews." Henry grinned at his wife.
"Again, the rings, please." Chris came slowly forwarad and held the rings up grinning. "Thanks, little man. With these rings, you promise to be there for each other in good and bad times and love for eternity."
"We do," came the instant reply.
"Alright," the registrar said and gathered his papers. "I think we're finished here. Thanks for this wonderful ceremony, though it took long to start. It was nice to meet you all." He saluted briefly and went out.
All sighed in relief but Dumain decided to take action. "This ceremony was lovely but to celebrate, I think, you want me to look after Wyatt and Chris, right?" He looked at them but saw only serious faces. "That's why I came here, beside the weddings."
All turned to him in shock but only Leo stood up, telling the sisters with his eyes to let him do the talking. "Yeah, we did, Victor," he agreed. "But you can wait for a few minutes still. The boys want to get to know their new uncles first if you let them, that is."
"Sure, no problem." Dumain watched the man closely, trying to figure out if he was found out. The minutes ran fast. "All right, boys. Come to Grandpa and we can play at my home long."
Wyatt came immediately but Chris hesitated a bit before his Daddy gave him his permission by slightly pushing his youngest son. "Sorry," Leo apologized quickly.
"No problem." Dumain took both boys' hands and walked out.
OUTSIDEThe man smirked. His plan had worked perfectly. Wyatt trusted him but Chris was a problem—will always be. "Christy, Billie, you can come. The battle, the last one, can start finally," he announced to the shocked boys.
It didn't take long before the two sisters arrived. "You really made it," Christy said astonished as she looked over the boys. Wyatt had raised his bubble meanwhile. "Great. The sisters and their men are inside?" He nodded. "Okay, Billie, let's do it."
Billie just had one question. "What about the real Victor?"
"We will see." Dumain looked at the boys but still smirked. "Attack the Charmed Ones now and let me take care of these two." The two went in while the demon watched over the kids.
Unnoticed by all of them, a storage room was opened quietly and an elderly man looked out. He'd get his revenge in the end.
INSIDEAs the door opened again, the Charmed Ones and their men immediately stood up and took each's hand—as if knowing what was going to happen now. The ground was found and the 'ultimate battle' could finally happen.
"Leo, Coop, Henry, stay back!" Piper demanded, taking charge of the situation immediately. "This is our fight!" She turned to the blonde sisters. "Hello Billie, and Christy. Nice to see you again!"
"Piper, Phoebe, Paige," Christy greeted in return. "Don't worry. We won't hurt your men—for now. What about your reinforcement? Ghostly and mortally?"
"In time, I think," the eldest sister said smirking. "Let's begin then, shall we?"
The Jenkins sisters took their hands as well as the Halliwells. Both sets formed powerful magic and collided right in the middle. It was clearly a sign for the Cleaners, and it wouldn't take long to call in the cavalry for the Halliwells.
WITH DUMAINThe demon was pleased as he saw the boys stepping back, the closer he came. Though the bubble was not seen anymore, still, Wyatt and Chris Halliwell would soon be dead, anyway. Damn, all good magic! "Good bye, boys," he said and produced a fireball.
"Not so fast," Victor said and surprised with his presence not only Dumain but also his grandsons. "You tricked me once but certainly not twice!" He took a heavy book and smashed it on the man's head. Dumain fell down unconscious. "That's my revenge!"
"Grandpa!" both boys said happily and hugged the man's legs in relief.
"I'm fine, boys. But you should kill the man for good, I mean vanquish. He's really bad but you should say a spell to do it. An easy one, I think."
Wyatt looked at his baby brother confused but nodded. "Know one maybe?" he asked his Grandpa.
Victor smiled at the boy. "The spell may sound childish but it is for you. Anyway, I want you to repeat at least twice: 'Bad man done, we want you gone.' Okay?"
Wyatt nodded, took his brother's hand and turned to the man on the floor. Taking a deep breath, he recited the simple spell, along with his brother's words:
Bad man done,
We want you gone. Both boys said it twice and poof, the man was turned into a pile of ash.
"Well done," said a Cleaner who revealed himself, along with his partner. He turned to the man. "For a mortal, you had a good idea and to use the boys with their charmed powers—wonderful."
The second Cleaner spoke now. "Let's just hope that the Charmed Ones will succeed as well. This battle is their greatest one."
Victor, Wyatt and Chris looked at each other and hoped for the best. It might come to the scenario that the boys had to step in and help their mother and aunts.
'THE ULTIMATE BATTLE'Both sets of sisters were thrown to the wall but quickly stood up again. All glared at each other before going back to their previous positions. The whole room was already in shambles but neither set was about to give up.
Phoebe still had to ask. "What about your mentor, Dumain? Do you think he's still survived? I bet he's already gone." She smirked at her sisters knowingly.
"No way," Christy demanded in rage. "It's more that your boys are gone, I think. Anything else?"
"No," Piper said and crossed her arms over her chest. "But we could have a problem with the Cleaners following. This definitely got their attention!"
"The Cleaners?" Billie requested stunned. "Oh, I remember now. Not funny, I think."
"You have no idea," Paige replied. "But I think we're getting out of business here. We are here to fight."
"You can't kill us!" Christy defended herself and her sister. "We are humans, just like you. It'd be murder, you know."
"She's got a point," the middle sister whispered to the other two. "Any ideas now?"
Paige thought about it. "Piper, do you remember still the spell when the Source wanted to get rid of our powers? It could be useful here, you know."
The eldest sister briefly nodded. "We should distract them a bit. It's been some time since I had to use it." Her sisters agreed fast and worked on some fast spells to distract the Jenkins.
However, the Jenkins sisters had the same idea. "What shall we do? Our powers equal theirs," Billie said in a quiet voice. "Who could we call to help us now? We can rule out Dumain, I think."
"You're right," her older sister agreed, just as quietly. "Damn them! This could end badly for us!"
Billie shook her head. "I don't think that they'd kill us. As you said, it'd be murder. But they have enough spells to take our powers away—for good."
"We can't let that happen!"
"What can we do then? We're equal in powers."
"We'll find a way, I promise. After all, we're the 'ultimate power'. We were trained to take out other witches," Christy explained and laid a hand on her sister's shoulder. "Don't ever forget this, Billie. And now, fight them with all your powers!"
"Eh guys," Phoebe said and tugged on her sisters. "It's time, I think. And Piper, I hope you remember."
"Hey, I do my best but I hate to work under pressure," the eldest sister complained good naturally.
The Jenkins sisters sent a fire wave their way. Christy spoke up, "This fire might help you, Charmed Ones. We can also wish you to be someone else. Hope, you won't forget our little powers."
"Oh, we don't have," Paige said and urged her eldest sister as well. "Piper, now would be nice, because our husbands are waiting over there. And they look like statues!"
"Hey!" came three male protests immediately from the corner.
"We got it, boys," Piper offered smiling and stood straight. "Alright, here we go. I remember now but I had to adjust a bit:
From whence they came,
Return them now.
Vanish the words.
Vanish the ultimate powers. It was silent at first but both Christy and Billie tried their powers in vain. In rage, Christy turned to Piper, "What have you done to us? What's going on here?"
Before the Charmed Ones could answer, the Angel of Destiny appeared and smiled at the five witches. "That was a good idea, ladies," she said and turned to the Jenkins. "The sisters took away your powers—for good." She pointed to Coop who immediately came. "You'll bring these two back before it all started. History will righten itself."
"What do you mean?" the Charmed Ones asked at once.
"Later, I'll explain. Coop!" The cupido did as told and hearted away. The Angel turned to the Charmed Ones. "When you return home with the boys, all will be good, you see. The Cleaners were sent home already."
"Wait. The Cleaners were here? And my boys?" Piper asked concerned.
"They're fine, along with Victor."
The three sisters sighed in relief and ran to their husbands, hugging them lovingly. The eldest one still had a question, "What about our destiny? And the boys? Our future?"
"Your destiny has been fulfilled. The demons will be hold back until Wyatt and Chris have grown up, along with the rest of your family. Good luck, because you need it." She smiled at the three couples and vanished into thin air.
Coop, who had returned meanwhile, held Phoebe and so did Henry Paige and Leo Piper. All were happy to have a happy end but there were some secrets around still.
"Wyatt! Chris! Dad! You can come in now," Piper yelled out loud and the three people appeared. The boys were picked up by their parents while Victor hugged each of his daughters and son-in-laws.
Victor could read the looks well. "Okay, any secrets I should know about? Don't lie to me, because I can see there are some."
"Well, you're right," Phoebe began nervously and leaned onto Coop. "I'm pregnant and I have the feeling that my little nephews have something to do with it, right?"
Wyatt and Chris blushed but the younger boy whispered, "Mommy said we should wish for it, or at least baby. Didn't know it'd come true."
"It's okay, Chris," Piper assured her baby son and put her hand on his head. "Well, Dad, not only is Phoebe pregnant but so am I. It just happened by accident, I swear."
"Oh, that's great," Paige jumped up happily but Henry stopped her quickly. "I'm going to be an auntie again. Twice." She turned abruptly to her husband. "I think we have to hurry now as well."
"You're kidding me, right?"
"Nope."
All laughed but Victor was stunned. "Wow. I don't know what to say but I'm happy, I think. More laughter in my little apartment. It's great, really."
"And we'll have some spare time in raising the boys and all other children following. The demons will be hold at bay for the time being, yet some may slip through but this we can handle," Piper said and took her Dad's hand. "You'll be involved in all our things, regarding the kids."
"My pleasure and bundles of joy." He sighed and all grinned at him good naturally.
"Mommy," Chris begged his Mom and Dad. "Home, please."
"Yeah," his big brother agreed nodding. "Saw enough from the city now."
"Agreed," Leo put in and nodded to the two new men in the family. "Boys, you orb us and Grandpa. Paige, you orb Phoebe, Henry and Coop follows you three. Alright, orb!"
Two orb clouds left the building and it was still monitored by the Angel of Destiny. At first, the whole family orbed to the Manor where they split up again and went to their own homes. The future looked bright for once and all hoped it would stay this way.
TBC.....
Hope that goes well with you.
Also my little spell for Wyatt and Chris and their speaking. It's hard to write childish language.
