Yeah someone on YouTube normally posts the Queens speech on there so Vanessa you should be able to see it somepoint.
My mum, sister, and I saw it yesterday also then.
Channel 4 a little earlier broadcasts an alternative Xmas speech whoever does that each particular year being different to what the Queen tells you and for anyone who don't like the royal family.
I like the big New York tree with all the red baubles on it because that's my favourite colour of course.

The one at Rockefeller Plaza?
Yeah, that’s the Rockefeller Christmas tree. It was super crowded and I had to make sure my younger brother didn’t get lost or freak out since he doesn’t like crowds

I can understand considering your brother's autistic.
My sisters okay with crowds actually because she loves going out generally and is mainly in her wheelchair so we know she wouldn't get lost if we were here obviously.

Halloween was yesterday. I go to close my curtains tonight and notice a glow from across the street. That's right. Its November 1st, and my neighbours opposite have put their Christmas decorations up. SERIOUSLY? !!!

Are you kidding me!? Christmas is nearly two months away!
However, get ready for more of Christmas being shoved down our throats.

Halloween has no sooner disappeared than Christmas shows up. And, as Jana indicated, sometimes it shows up in August!

Count me in with the Scrooges, the whole Christmas thing drives me nuts. It’s great for kids but for any thinking adult it is designed to drive people nuts. Christmas music mostly sucks, the enforced cheerfulness sucks and too many sweets nauseate me. It’s only the three of us for Christmas so we never have a big party or celebration, it’s pointless since much of my family lives somewhere else. The only thing I like Christmas is going to church, the inside all done in red and white and there’s different masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the vigil mass and choir music. This year we probably can’t do the Christmas pageant because of the virus

And Hallmark has started showing their Christmas movies. Let me run down the basic plot of one:
Our Main Character is a business executive in the big city, who, while successful, is feeling unfulfilled. So said Main Character decides to pay a visit to their home town.
When they get there, they meet up with that Special Someone that got away when the Main Character left for college years before. The Special Someone is now a single parent (the spouse of the Special Someone being either dead or divorced or otherwise out of the picture). And, what do you know, sparks fly between the Main Character and the Special Someone. It's like they were never apart.
However, then the Big Crisis happens. Christmas is doomed, I tell you! DOOMED!!
The Main Character and the Special Someone throw themselves into saving Christmas. Hi-jinks ensue, and Christmas is saved!
As the movie ends, the Main Character decides to permanently move back to the hometown to be with the Special Someone. The end.

This year, it's just going to be a lonely Christmas for me - without my Mom not here anymore. *sighs* But I got friends to help me, I'm sure. Yeah, our Christmas time comes early. Always shake my head on this.

They should pass a law, no Christmas until Halloween is over.

I agree, no need to do it that early. Now, I understand them getting it ready in November, but anytime before it is just stupid.
I'm not a big Christmas person mind you. I do like Christmas to spend it with family, and cook a good Christmas lunch and enjoy ourselves and exchange gifts. But, I don't do much else, to be honest. And, I only buy gifts for my immediate family, and nobody else.
I don't get why some even put their trees up so early. My dad always found that so stupid, he believed, putting it up two weeks before Christmas is the right time and taking it down a few days after New Year. But, seeing someone put it up as early as early November, he thinks is really odd.

Scarily accurate!
My mum watches dozens of these in the run up to Christmas and this is essentially the plot of every single one
