I actually watched Volume 1 of the Looney Tunes Platinum Collection and it brought back memories of the Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show as a kid. I noticed there’s a lot of stuff in the cartoons that wouldn’t pass muster today, Elmer Fudd threatening Bugs with a gun, the characters distracted by sexy pinup girls, Bugs Bunny in frag, characters getting blown up and so on. Today a cartoon with humor involving a hunter with a gun would horrify people but it’s actually funny since Elmer is such an incompetent hunter, not to mention Daffy Duck and Marvin Martian trying to blow each other up with rayguns.

Wow how cool to revisit it and own the collection. I had an old VHS that had so many good ones on them. But threw that out years ago. I just wish I had it at least to see what ones were on it, so I could look online to find similar on DVD. You couldn't pull that today.

I rewatched some of the old '90s X-Men cartoon episodes from season 1 on YouTube which brought back memories of me watching that originally.

Oh yeah, those are all old classics.
They've sure stood the test of time.

I re-watched the two Scooby-Doo episodes with Batman and Robin. (I heard they have a few more newer ones, a crossover during a Batman series in the 90s, another direct to DVD film and one as part of the new Guess Who series) And a couple of others I loved especially one I loved so much as a kid, and it was the one with the headless horsemen of Halloween, and the one that Supernatural did a crossover with. I also checked out the recent Mystery Incorporated series, I'm enjoying it so far. As it has kept the continuity from the original, with past villains mentioned. I don't like Be Cool Scooby-Doo, because of the animation. And I do have the Flinstones on DVD, but not all of them. I watched the one with the prowler. Although I have to excuse some things not making sense, like Fred's boss changing episode to episode, and the animation has so many faults, but back then, they didn't have money to fix those, it really didn't ruin the episodes for me. In Australia, the cartoons played week-days in the mornings, so I watched these before school. Saturday was always Disney day, where they played Disney shows in the mornings. But, the Flintstones and Scooby Doo played at 4:30-5:30PM, for kids coming home from school. And I think 10 years ago, they brought them back and played them on weekends and weeknights at 5:30-6:30PM before the news too.

I remember those too, and I've seen some of the newer ones.
Tim, why not go back and relive the old memories and watch them again.

Be neat to relive them. I just watched the Flintstones last night, and the episode The Prowler.
