Let's start easy and an early movie of Drew: Voodoo Academy Synopsis (from IMDB): Young Christopher has just enrolled at the prestigious Carmichael Bible College, managed by the somewhat unusual Mrs. Bouvier. After some unexplained disappearances, Christopher does some exploring and discovers that Mrs. Bouvier and the Reverend Carmichael have some very unwholesome intentions for the young men of their school. Will Christopher graduate with his body and soul intact? Drew's role name: Paul St. Clair My review: It is clearly that there is a potential in Drew, yet this script is horrendous and barely tolerable. His role is minimal and you see it's his first big movie. Young and with no experience. It could have made better but this was not the intention, obviously. To be honest, I didn't see the end because it was way too strange - to endure the rest. *shudder* It will be better. P.S.: I try to follow the airing years here but it can change. I might need to watch the movies again. P.P.S. Some pics of Drew from the movie:

Yeah, this came out in 2000, three years before Drew was on Charmed.
Thankfully, things went uphill for him after this.

Let's go on then. With this movie I have a German DVD and so it helps: Vampire Clan Synopsis (from IMDB): Based on the true story of the murder of a girl's parents in Eustis, FL (USA), five teens in a vampire cult on the run are captured by police in New Orleans, LA and tell their tale of how they got there. Or differently: A young woman comes home to find her parents dead and calls the Sheriff who looks for the murderer. He finds a group of teenagers who believe to be vampires and it seems that the young woman's sister is also involved in this group. In the end, most of them land in prison while only one remains free. Drew's role name: Roderick 'Rod' Justin Farrell (the leader) My review: Yeah, the movie starts normal with teenagers playing on a playground. A plus is that would be Drew's first main role in a movie. From what I've heard he doesn't even look like the original Rod Ferrell but he plays him well. I guess Drew identifies himself with his character in movies. He wants them to be perfect, or at least that's my impression. Rod is the cool leader who stands above anyone and likes to play with anyone, even the police. I guess this was an independent movie but you can correct me if I'm wrong. Some pictures again:

Sorry for the delay but you know my reason already. Let's go on then. Final Contract: Death on Delivery Synopsis (from IMDB): David Glover is a young, American man who is working as a courier at his uncle's company, "Berlin Express". David is attracted to a female co-worker by the name of Jenny, who also happens to have feelings for him. During one of his courier jobs, the attractive Lara, who claims to be a policewoman, jumps into his car and David finds himself in an exchange of fire. David is willing to help Lara, but soon finds himself framed as the professional assassin LORCA. Now David must run from the police and catch the real LORCA, who is hell-bent on murdering the last surviving witness to a brutal murder. Drew's role name: David Glover (main role) My review:Saw at first the German version on TV, later then the English one. To be honest, the English version was better and it was clear from the beginning that the stunts played the main role and not the good looking actors. lol Anyway, from what I read from DFF.com, Drew was the only American actor beside the mass of British and German actors/actresses. And I'm sure he did most of his stunts on his own. And well, that's the one movie he filmed in Berlin. As said above, he has feelings for a woman but he cannot tell her. Lovely, yet a happy end is there. Some pictures again:

Nice that Drew made a movie in your country, Jana.

He seems well travelled then for an actor actually.

Let's go on then with one of my favorite movies, because this one has a message. The Ultimate Gift Synopsis (from IMDB):Jason thought his inheritance was going to be the gift of money and lots of it. Was he ever in for a big surprise. Based on the best-selling book "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall, the story sends trust fund baby Jason Stevens on an improbable journey of discovery, having to answer the ultimate question: "What is the relationship between wealth and happiness?" Jason had a very simple relationship with his impossibly wealthy Grandfather, Howard "Red" Stevens. He hated him. No heart-to-heart talks, no warm fuzzies, just cold hard cash. So of course he figured that when Red died, the whole "reading of the will" thing would be another simple cash transaction, that his Grandfather's money would allow him to continue living in the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed. But what Red left him was anything but simple. Red instead devised a plan for Jason to experience a crash course on life. Twelve tasks, which Red calls "gifts," each challenging Jason in an improbable way, the accumulation of which would change him forever. - written by the director of the movie, btw Drew's role name: Jason Stevens My review: Well, this one was good and the title is strange at first. What do you expect as an ultimate gift? Clearly not some lessons in life and with Jason being the grandson of a billionaire clan, life was easy but never hard. He had other priorities, yet with the death of Jason's father years ago, there was a rift between grandfather and grandson. Jason only had friends first who were interested in his money and not himself what changes over the movie. Lovely, young Abigail Breslin as Emily. Good old stars within, like Brian Dennehy and James Garner. I liked it and still do. Some pictures again:

This movie came out in 2006, the same year Charmed ended.
I knew it was an older one, as James Garner is in it. He passed away a few years back.

So now one of Wes, even though - not my type, really. Let's see then. Reign of the Gargoyles Synopsis (from IMDB):One of Himmler's grim Nazi relic hunting teams managed to unleash, but not control, a demonic force in castle mountain caves in occupied continental Europe. It breathes life into gargoyles, which terrorize not only the area but also passing allied bombers. Operating from Kent, first an RAF squad and then a USAF squad sent to rescue them suffer heavy losses. Crash survivors combine, advised by local resistance and legend, in a desperate fight against the hell-breed, with rebellious ace pilot Will in the ultimate star part. Wes' role name: Will My review:It's been some time since I last watched it and even at that time, it seemed unbelievable. Really Nazi and Gargoyles? I know that Himmler had some strange tendencies back then but to go that far?! Not really. As said above, Wes plays the rebellious pilot Will and Joe Penny his supervisor. At the end only a few survive if I remember correctly. To be honest, I don't think that Wes has a lucky hand with his movies, more with his series. Some pictures still (from the Internet now):

Well, at least it wasn't Nazi zombies Sounds like a silly movie though. Still, I hope Wes was good in it.

One of Drew's again since I have only a few with Wes. Loaded (2008) Synopsis (from IMDB):A young, wealthy club kid's life spirals downward into an out-of-control world of drugs, sex and violence. Drew's role name: Brendan My review:Drew's here just a friend of the main character, meaning he plays a supporting role but cool. Nice to see Parker Stevenson here again as a family friend. Remember him from "North & South" and "Baywatch"? I was surprised here seeing him, yet the main part plays Jesse Metcalfe. We see what drugs can do to your life. So not fun!! Some pictures again:

Time for another one of Drew. This time nearly main role again. The Circuit 2008 Synopsis (from IMDB): Al Shines, former king of the US race car track circuit, has a hard time starting his own team, once he's fired by his sponsor Robin Cates. Robin hired Al's immature daughter Kylie Shines instead. She resents Al's inevitable 'absence' as a widowed father, as well as the reigning champion, equally young but professionally vetted Kid Walker. Kylie tries to prove herself against Kid while having an on-off affair with him. Cates's marketing strategy dictates his intentions to manipulate Walker and both Shines racers. Drew's role name: Kid Walker My review:The premise is nice. Drew as a race car driver, though he is sportive and all. Why not? Nice to have his role start barely naked and let him introduce Kylie Shines alias Michelle Trachtenberg. They play well together and I guess, the driving is the most important thing here and that Kylie shines. Sorry for that double meaning but it's true! Anyway, in the end there's a big race and the family Shines wins. Drew is up to more, definitely. lol Some pictures again:
