Legends of Tomorrow season 3 finale will bring back two fan favourites
Yee-haw, get ready to head back to the wild west for the season 3 finale of DC's Legends of Tommorow as John Constantine and Jonah Hex will both be returning.
Speculation was already swirling after Keiynan Lonsdale, who plays Kid Flash, posted a cryptic tease of the finale's cowboy-esque set – while Caity Lotz all but confirmed it by sharing an image of her in Western clothing.
Confirming what we secretly thought all along, ComicBook has now revealed that Johnathon Schaech will reprise his role as gun-toting badass Jonah Hex. Although there is no news on what role Hex will have in the finale, expect it to be pistols at dawn...
Schaech first appeared back in season 1's 'The Magnificent Eight', and went on to became a firm favourite with fans as one of the show's first recurring stars.
The actor confirmed we would see him some time during this season's second half, but it didn't take a master of deduction to realise Jonah might appear in the action-packed finale.
As for John Constantine, the occult detective doesn't seem content with just popping up in the midseason premiere 'Daddy Darhkest' and will also be back for more.
When Nick Zano posted an photo of himself from the finale, observant fans spotted what is clearly Matt Ryan's Constantine over his shoulder.
It's an in-joke that Hex appears on Legends of Tomorrow at least once a season, and alongside Constantine's dry wit, it looks like we're heading back to the town of Salvation with our own pistol posse.
With Rip Hunter taking the team on another time travel adventure, the plot of the finale will presumably set the scene for where Legends heads next – well, if it gets renewed.
The big question is, will Constantine and Hex help or hinder Rip's fight against the time demon Mallus?
