Of course, most of the Millennial generation is on Social Media. And this will continue with their children.
Imagine if some disaster, solar flares, knocked out all the cell phones and such. Civilization as we know it would collapse. No one has been able to do that. We can't, Kim Jong-un can't, Adolf Hitler couldn't, but one huge solar storm, and we're all screwed.

As Katie said, I wonder what the world will be by the time 2100 rolls around. Of course, none of us here will be around to see it.
I'm glad! I to prefer forums over social media which I don't do bar YouTube because these places are more intimate and tailored to fans who actually like what said forums are about obviously plus no hate bashing from unknown people on Facebook or Twitter thank god. Me too Melinda! I really don't get it. I find the new generation is quite rude when using the social media, with all the short and quick attacks against current issues. Forums are more intimate and encourage long conversations online.

That's true, children as young as 6 are holding a smartphone or tablet. They wouldn't cope, I'm sure the kids who are now born in the age of social media and already start using it at a young age, will not cope. They may not even know how to connect with people the old fashion way.

That is a scary thought, isn't it.
Hopefully, such a thing will never happen.

I hope not or I'm dead when that happens and long gone. Social media is fine, but get those kids outside and playing and getting exercise.

I wonder if this is the cause of the increase in child obesity rates.

I pulled out my Blu-Ray complete series set last night, and re-watched this episode. I really enjoyed it. So many hilarious parts but at the same time grabbed me right away with the plot. You can tell David and Gillian looked like they’re fully engaged and having a great time filming this one. All the interesting noises buzzing all around make up for the lack of dialogue. Scully's attempts to reach customer support to return fails, boy was that relatable. One by one, Scully's appliances malfunction, and the fireplace goes out, but gas is still flowing out. She tries to light a candle but breaks the match. Not her night. I did like that we got to see Scully's new apartment, as Mulder still lived in the house they both got together in the I Want to Believe movie. I picked up that Scully’s code for her house alarm is 0223, for February 23; her birthday. This is quite a popular episode, and I read online that in December 2018, TV Guide ranked this episode as #23 in the 25 Best Episodes of TV in 2018, saying the episode was a reminder of what X-Files used to be: insightful, terrifying and little bit playful.

Most fans, it seemed, preferred the stand alone episodes.

Yeah, a very fun episode. I remember how much I loved it. It was really a creative episode with little dialogue. But nice to see them end up with a crisis after work most likely.
I did like seeing Scully's new apartment.

They should have done more such episodes. Stand alone, I mean.

I agree. So many great ones. I admit, even sequel to some of the wonderful stand-alone villains. They did some sequels, but so many could have done with one.

I agree. Nice to see some of those villains back.

Caught this one on television in reruns. Very enjoyable. A cost saving episode, since it just had the two leads. But fun to see them at their homes, and fighting off technology and robots. Scary, but enjoyable.
I sure relate to their frustration on the phones talking to a robot not a human. And Scully when her appliances turn her on. LOL

And I likely a cost saving episode. No guest stars, but our leads. But, I really liked seeing them at home.
But, scary these robots would have killed them, if they didn't give a good review.
