I love it, such a bizarre episode, but very entertaining. This is some Final Destination-like feel.
So Scully is back to her bob haircut or wig in Gillian's case.
Mulder's face when he saw the vibrator lol was funny. Scully’s fighting her angry refrigerator while Mulder’s being chased by the Olympic drones...LOL
This episode is creepy because it's relatable. We know that some companies are using data in ways that not only we don't know about but gathering it in other ways too. Plus the theme of technology was very well done.
I have to say I came out of this episode really enjoying how weird it was. Season 11 is very good, I can't wait to add it to my collection on Blu-ray. I can't wait to watch the entire series in full again, with a hopeful conclusion.

Mulder and Scully VS Skynet!
David and Gillian were the only cast members to appear this week. This was clearly a money saving show. Still, it was good.

Nice to see the Scully hairstyle we all loved back.
I laughed when Scully's refrigerator mocked her with saying her blood sugar was low.

Shows what kind of world we're living in now. What if the machines turned on us, a la, Terminator?

I was thinking about this episode recently. And it does feel scary to think of our future.
The thought of robots turning on us is scary.

Yeah, we need Asimov's Three Laws Of Robotics now. The first being is that a robot is incapable of harming a human.

Sign me up for those. I'd freak out if a robot was chasing me. I hear so many theories from the Alien/studies once that Aliens might be robots in nature from another planet.
I freak out thinking of a world overrun by robots.

Definitely could be. I remember the old X Files S1 episode with a computer. That was 93, before technology advanced so much to what it was now.
Nice the show did an update with modern times.
I remember that episode from S1 where Scully almost died being sucked into a fan.

Computers and the Internet have come a long way in the 25 years since this episode was made.

I remember that episode Tim. Indeed, sometimes I feel it has come along far too quickly. I'm somewhat glad I won't be alive to see the year 2100. Of course, it's nice, but the more technology, the less likely normal everyday conventions will be used.

Yeah, and this is 1993, when the Internet was still in its infancy.

Yeah, and this is 1993, when the Internet was still in its infancy.
Those were the days. I do like the internet. I just like the earlier days when it wasn't so full on. Though the kids these days are all Social media and the older ones like us prefers forums for discussions not social media. That's just me.

As Katie said, I wonder what the world will be by the time 2100 rolls around. Of course, none of us here will be around to see it.

I to prefer forums over social media which I don't do bar YouTube because these places are more intimate and tailored to fans who actually like what said forums are about obviously plus no hate bashing from unknown people on Facebook or Twitter thank god.
