Tatiana is three years old as of December 21st. Here is a video of the Ottawa Humane Society (which I am a proud supporter of), where I adopted Tatiana from: www.youtube.com/user/OHSWalkathon?feature=watchHere is a link to their website: ottawahumane.ca/home/index.cfmTatiana is part of the reason I support the Humane Society. Without them, she would never have had a chance. Of course, much of December was trying to keep Tatiana from pulling down my Christmas tree. What is it with cats and Christmas trees

Yeah, I'm glad too. She still gets out from time to time, but I keep a careful eye on her when she does. Thankfully, we've had no repeat of the elevator incident.

That's true, Tatiana does bear close watching at times.
Still, I'm glad I don't have to get up at two in the morning to walk her in -40 temperatures!
Another little trait she has is what I call "whiskers in my face" in which she wakes me up early in the morning just to get some attention

I've seen Tatiana stalking something that I can't see. I wonder what she sees or senses?

Sometimes Tatiana acts just like the cat in that video.
In fact, there was an old lady who lived and died in the very apartment I'm living in now. I wonder, if she's still here, and Tatiana can sense and see her.

They say animals like cats, dogs, and horses have more acute senses than we humans have. So if my apartment is haunted by the ghost of that old lady, Tatiana would know about it (as I type this, she's curled up asleep nearby).
As long as said ghost doesn't bother me, I'm not gonna be calling the Ghost Hunters (or would it be GH International, since I'm not in the United States).
Anyway...
Told a friend about Tatiana. He commented on how my cat has a Russian name.
Well, I replied, since she's named after a Russian Grand Duchess, what else would it be. LOL!
I bought her some new toys not too long ago. They're cat balls. All I had to do was show them to her, and she began batting them around like crazy. Sometimes at night, I can hear her playing with them.

Here is my kitten, Apollo. This is the best I could do as a photo, since he doesn't want to stand still. So I took a pic of him while he was sleeping on my bed. Lol, that way I was sure he wouldn't move.
