Tatiana went to the vet today for her annual check up and rabies shot. She got a clean bill of health

That's good Tim. Glad she's alright.

Of course, she meowed all the way there and back. She does not like being stuffed into her cat carrier.
Thankfully, it only happens once a year.

My little Polo is being so cute. He doesn't like me going away, always wants to be with me. It's so cute!

Tatiana is the same way. Whenever I get home from a lengthy absence, I get a bunch of angry meows.
No doubt her way of saying: "How dare you go off and leave me all alone!"

Ginger never once done that with me but did sad meow when mum or me either went out where we used to live and would follow us down the road a bit before going back home afterwards.

Seems each cat is different.
However, I have found that they can be very loyal.
Dogs may have the title of Humanity's Best Friend, but I feel that cats should have that same title as well.

Yes, I do find they are very trusting in terms of owners or some of them in public generally depending on the cat.
There are a couple of black ones who live round the corner by the block of flats near me and when I see them Sunday evening and go over to them one really likes me stroking it and follows up the path a little bit whilst the other one stays on the ledge outside nearby the main doors staring obviously.

Some cats pick one human and latch onto said human.
Trilly, my previous cat, was like that. She was MY cat, that was clear. She always slept with me. However, no one else could get near her.

Well, mine likes the other people of my family but I'm the ONE to him. He obviously enjoys my company more than the others'. I'm flattered, of course

Yep, Apollo is your cat. Of course, I'm the only person Tatiana sees all the time, so she's naturally attached herself to me. Plus, I'm the one who puts food in her dish However, when someone comes visiting, she does come out to see who it is.

Cats are like that. They're more sociable than people think. Once you've gained their trust, they are the most faithful compagnions ever.

That's true. Cats can be just as friendly as dogs. At least that has been my experience with cats. Of course, I've had a cat all my life

As you know, I've never had a cat before Apollo. Now I've entered the wonderful world of cat owners, I'm so happy I've discovered how nice and lovely those animals are.
