The iconic CHARMED is back just in time to celebrate its 20th Anniversary. This reboot of the original series centers on three sisters in a college town who, after the tragic loss of their mother, discover they are powerful witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy and maintaining familial bonds, a witch's work is never done. Please join series stars Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery and Madeleine Mantock for an exclusive sneak peek of the first episode of The CW series followed by a panel discussion.

Well, of course, we know the stars of the original do not get along and won't even to do a panel for the fans. So I guess this is the second best thing. Of course, I can respect why original fans will be mad it's happening on this date, but it isn't their fault, so maybe not take it out on the new stars. 

I wonder if they will screen the newly remastered HD version of the first episode of Something Wicca This Way Comes at Comic-Con, that could be a treat for original fans at least if none of the stars are attending.

Of course they will want to promote the reboot.  I think it's just a coincidence that it will happen on this day.

And fans will get to meet the new stars.

But what a coincidence!! Both Charmed started as well as will start on October 7. Just with 20 years difference ... and many other things in between.

Actually, Jana, the reboot itself will start on the 14th, a week later.

What Katie is talking about here is a panel to promote the reboot.

Of course, the CW usually start all their shows in October.
