What I truly loved, the supporting cast didn't take over. Let this trend stay longterm. I also love this myself. A lot of people were worried that the love interests would take over the show, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Only the lone female love interest, Nico, has had a little more prominence, while Galvin and Brian have barely appeared. Have to admit I feel no chemistry between Macy and Galvin if they want to pair these two up. I just don't feel it, I feel more for Mel and her girlfriend. So I'd gladly let Galvin be the first main character to die before they kill Nico the Andy again. I fully agree. *nods* Galvin's actor seems very stiff to me, and he has no chemistry with Macy, whatsoever. If anyone has to get fridged at the end of the season, let it be him. Also, I'm sick and tired of lesbian girlfriends always getting killed off on TV shows. I still haven't forgotten PLL and how the lone gay Liar, Emily, just happened to be the one with the most tragic, tumultuous love life. And, do I even need to mention how Buffy handled Willow's love life?  Please, Charmed, don't make the same mistakes with Mel. Let the lesbians live Happily Ever After for a change. If you need someone to have a ton of relationship drama, do it with either Macy or Maggie instead. |

They should just have Mel and her girlfriend as the love story for S1. We need no others yet.

WHAT AN EPISODE! Miles better than the horribly paced pilot.
I had so much fun watching it. I liked Maggie in this one especially.
I think we all knew the spirit board was not to be trusted.

With the spirit board, I did wonder if like classic Charmed Marisol had left a message on the back as Patty had.
Although I didn't mind the green colour of it I do prefer the shape of the original one which I'm used to. But that's just me I guess.
I will get used to the new one as the show goes probably.

This episode was better than the pilot.
Liked the idea of the Trickster pretending to be Marisol and the sister's being stuck in the room of mirrors.
Did prefer the look of the pilot's demon vanquish than Melonie using her phone and the girls saying the spell which hopefully will get better as the season goes on.
Noticed the different elements of classic Charmed used to like the truth serum thing for instance.
I also appreciate Macy being smart and using her brain to help in the case but kinder been the sceptic like Scully from X Files and the awkwardness going on with the girl's trying to accept the new arrangement.
At least Harry won't be having a relationship with any of the sisters which are good. Though I didn't like them being involved with anyone this early on.
Although the show should be about the girl's it's nice the supporting stars didn't overshadow them.

A lot of us see a bit of Scully in Macy. Like Scully, Macy's had her whole world turned upside down, in that things that she originally dismissed are, in fact, real.
