Sounds interesting. I'd also give it a go. I love Superman!

So this series is happening. This will be the first live action Superman TV show since Lois & Clark ended, 22 years ago.
Looking forward to this one.

This is very cool. A brand new Superman show, and yes, the first one since Lois and Clark. Smallville doesn't count, as he wasn't Superman, it was before.
This is a different one, the first series to start when Clark has been Superman already for a decade with a child. So it is bringing something that has never been done before.
It feels like what Lois and Clark would have been if it got a fifth season and they raised a son.
Do you guys think, they'll have flashbacks to the past on how Lois and Clark meet. Didn't Arrow do a whole flashback story that detailed all the past five years of Oliver's life? Could they do that on this series.
Also will Crisis rewrite history, so Superman can take back a number of villains, that Supergirl used that were part of Superman's history, not hers. They might also use Crisis, so their son can somehow age up to a teenager, and not keep him as a baby. Isn't Clark and Lois about 40 now in this show?

Nice that this show will be made. Guess DC has given up on the movies, since Henry Cavill quit the role of Superman.
I like Tyler's Superman much better anyway.

I'm wondering if this means Lex Luthor will become a regular on this series or a recurring one. I don't see him staying on Supergirl, he's more important to Superman. But this is a good thing because they can have crossover appearances of Lex on both shows or a team-up. I'm convinced for sure, the Death of Superman/Doomsday story will be on this spin-off, and be a big crossover event with Supergirl, maybe even the other DC shows. That might be a future annual crossover story they do. But, Clark and Lois with a son, has never been done before. So this Superman series is offering something that has never been done before in 50 years on television. It is almost like a somewhat sequel to Lois and Clark, with where their series ended with wanting children. Just picture that show as the backstory to this show.

With a child? Sounds interesting. Maybe it comes across the ocean.

From what I hear, the new comics they have a son, so it might be based on the new comics in recent years. I've not kept up with the comic lore of Superman to know how long they have had a son in the comics. I hope you get to see it.

This would be great. More Jon Cryer as Lex, he nailed it.

I really hope this show gets picked up.
Haven't had a Superman show on TV for twenty years now.

As to how and when this show will start it'll take place after Crisis sometime I reckon because in the final trailer for that it's shown something's happened to Argo where Clark, Lois and baby EL currently reside.
Most likely the planets wiped from the Crisis with everyone including Alura inside but not Clark, Lois, or the baby who manage to get away before that travelling back to Earth where they'll stay then permanent wise in Metropolis.
This will leave it open for Erica to play Smallville Lois in Crisis.
And Lex will survive if Jon Cryer's asked and would like to play the Luthor billionaire unless someone else does actor wise.

Be cool if Jon Cryer became a recurring star on this show as Lex Luthor.

That's why I suggested it be a recurring part. He would turn up once or twice a season.

I can't see the actor moving to Vancouver, too many of the adult actors don't like to do that, or ones with families. So a recurring role from time to time might work.
