I know of the novel but have not read it myself of course.
Does anyone else here read that book around Halloween or rewatch "All Halliwells Eve" either with family or friends or by themselves overall?

I do have the novel as well, somewhere lost in the stuff of my old home. I'd have to look for it but I read it before.

I have re-watched that episode before and the books in the past. I also re-watch other themed Halloween episodes of shows.
There's quite a few Charmed Halloween novels. I know there's at least three or four of them.
Simpsons Treehouse of horrors plays each year on television. I do often watch those.

Well it was a total non-event for me. Bought chocolates and sweets. Not a single person came to my door LOL. I heard some people walking around and knocking on other doors but not mine. So I guess I've got some junk food to get through

Here it was also quiet. Just heard some kids outside but no one rang at my door or house. More for me.

Another year no door knockers.
Haven't had a door knocker though in at least seven years. We have plenty of kids in the area. Sometimes I wonder if the craze is dying with the younger generation. Given I barely see kids in years. Funny thing adults take it more seriously with dressing up for work parities or other events.

Apparently, the rule of thumb for Halloween in terms of whether people knock on your door one of the kids at the school I work at in the mornings and lunchtime said is if you have decorations outside your house then people will come if not they won't of course.
I commented then why do folks not knock on people's doors and sing Christmas Carols to them as nearly everyone decorates their houses around Xmas time? The person had no comeback and was flummoxed which was funny overall.

That's very true Melinda Halliwell . My cousin went all out this year with decorations, and she had lots of door knockers this year. Last year she had none when she didn't put up anything. And for the first time in at least eight years. I had my first door knock for Halloween. It was a mother and her two children. She was dressed as Harley Quinn, her son was dressed as Batman and daughter dressed as Batgirl. Lovely family, I told them I liked their costumes and those DC characters. I gave them extra sweets, since they were the only door knockers.

Dark Avenger How cool that they were dressed as DC characters and just so happened to knock on the door of a DC fan? Like fate. Melinda Halliwell I hadn't heard of that, perhaps you're right, I didn't put any decorations out front because I just didn't see the point for one day and its never stopped people before, weird.
