WHAT WE DESIRE - Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) attempt to find a missing Macy (Madeleine Mantock) with a spell while Harry (Rupert Evans) uses a different method - allowing Abigael to help him access his subconscious in an attempt to connect with his dark side. Tessa Blake directed the episode written by Johanna Lee (#205). Original airdate 11/8/2019.

[Melinda Halliwell]

Again through these press releases, I'm liking the fact innocents or another witch, in this case, takes precedence over romantic storylines so Mel or Maggie aren't immediately hooking up with Jordan or that witch shop-girl otherwise.

I'm willing to accept Harry and Macy for the time being if it's to do with the assassin storyline him having Harry's face but not being him and Macy attracted to him because of her half-demon side and they go off one another after finding out the truth obviously unless he's a dark psyche of Harry maybe which this might seem to suggest like the id in Prue's astral from 'Just Harried'.

I would be slightly worried if they did get together afterwards though maybe.

Good episodes to look forward to watching after they aire.

These episodes sound very good.  Another sign that the show is one the right track.

So this promo for the show's return next year, has Ray Vera back, and he didn't die. Well, I'm excited because it means a focus on the sisters, which is what we want to see explored. Hopefully this Abagial/Parker stuff takes a backseat for an episode.

Nope, it is Ray. Mel and Maggie turns out he isn't quite dead. The trailer reveals that right away, with Mel and Maggie both saying "dad", and shocked saying your alive. 

I'm looking forward because it means this episode will be based all on the family as a story, and we'll get more insight into them growing up. I'm thrilled, other than their mother, we know little to nothing about their family.

Dexter is Macy's dad and Maggie's biological father. Believe me, it does get confusing figuring out who is what dad.

Exactly right. 

I wonder how long until we get our own time travel episode, were we can meet their ancestors. I'm dying to learn where their family line started from. I feel like, they need to flesh out their history and family line, and focus less on their romantic stories, if we know not much about their own family line. 

I hope to god, they get the mythology on how Witches die correct, and do a good job with cultures.

I do wonder if Ray is still dead, but he might be a shapeshifter pretending to be him. If it is him, then Darklighter Harry faked his death or put that ad in the paper in order to get Maggie to come out and find them.

I presume Mel's birth father, Ray (I hope I got the name right, I can't keep track who is who), the one they all think was dead but isn't, judging by the trailer. 

But, I'm not convinced, I'm sure we'll get a twist of some kind.

I would also love an 'All Halliwell's Eve' type episode learning more about their ancestors whether we'll see their version of Melinda Warren and who and how was their book if shadows started.

Me too. It is what I'm dying to see. That is the type of episodes, I'm waiting for. We still know little to nothing about their ancestors. I feel like I know more about the Caine family than I do the sisters. 

I'm still surprised we haven't learned anything yet. I'd be happy if they did do an 'All Halliwell's Eve' type episode, they make it a two-parter, or even a story arc. I'm always been one who enjoys time travel and going back in time. That is the kind of stories, I'm keen for.

That would be fantastic. And I agree with a two-part story. I'd find it so refreshing to go into the past with these sisters. How cool would that be. 

They were some of Charmed's most popular episodes with time travel. Let us see these sisters going back in time and meeting their ancestors. Yes please.
