Still think it's just meant to make us wait a month. Who's boneheaded decision was that!? I guess to give them more time to film the last part or two. I gather special effects will need more time. The post production process can sometimes take twice as long. They might even still have stuff to shoot. Maybe more surprise cameos yet to be seen haven't been shoot yet. That's the only thing I can think of. Than just doing that to drum up anticipation and get people to tune in.

Shows leave things on a cliffhanger so people talk about them and it whets their appetites making them come back for more. In this case January 14th.

I just thought of something, that Barry isn't out of the woods just yet. They have been building up him going missing in Crisis since the pilot, and it is so central to his character, yes Earth 90's version took his place. But, I'm still not convinced.
That newspaper article still might come into play, which has been a huge part of the Flash for 6 seasons now.
Remembering, that Crisis was when Reverse-Flash was supposed to go back in time and kill Barry's mother, leading to Barry becoming the Flash and simultaneously causing him to disappear from Crisis too.
Unless, of course, they are saving that for another crisis in the future like Final Crisis which was a big DC event in 2008, as a follow-up Crisis on Infinite Earths.
I do think the Reverse Flash will make an appearance, he has to appear. Since it has been teased and promised since the Flash began. We'll see. Unless, that is now being saved for when The Flash ends one day in a few years.

Right now Barry is one of the few survivors of his universe.
I know they'll have to find a way to restore the status quo, either that or cancel all the shows!

Actually, in the previews The Reverse Flash was spotted since you see a quick shot of a yellow speedster likely him next to Barry who is red. So we'll likely get some sort of epic run and he'll appear in it as teased and built up on since the pilot, of course that newspaper article from the future has changed. Don't worry. Eoabard and Lex teamup to annoy off their heroes. LOL

They probably could hook up with other villain's future wise forming the Injustice League.
As I mentioned previously if only earth 1 exists at the end of crisis and the shows that were of world being Supergirl earth 38 and Black Lightning earth 73 culminated with that the shows will continue.

A bit of trivia. Online someone pointed out that Part 3 of the Flash episode of Crisis on Infinite Earth's was the 500th episode of the Arrowverse as a whole. WOW, talk about a great milestone episode for the Arrowverse for the 500th.

I heard the tie-in comic is being released in Walmart, ahead of being released in comic stores. Has anyone managed to find it here?
Otherwise, maybe it will leak online the sites that have comics you can read online for free?

Like in the comics, the universe has been rebooted and what was many became one. Now only one Earth exists. An Earth that combines all the others. Kara, Kal, Lois, Kate, Barry, and the Legends (as well as Black Lightning) are now all on the same Earth.
Alas, we lost Oliver Queen, who gave his life to make this happen. R.I.P. Ollie. He died in the place of Kara and Barry (who both died in the original comic story, of course, neither were lead characters in two successful shows).
Of course, our heroes were totally blinded sided here (as only those that went back to the Dawn Of Time have any memories of the former multiverse). Poor Kara wakes up and she sees Lex Luthor getting the Nobel Prize and it seems that Luthorcorp now controls the DEO. The other heroes are also confused, until everyone to get together, to compare notes on what happened.
To Alex, Caitlin, and the others, nothing usual happened (that is until J’onn was able to update their memories).
And what will Lex do now? I can't believe he's turned over new leaf.
Of course, this means that everything has changed going forward for all the DC Shows. We cannot simply go back to business as usual. In a sense, this is a whole new world that our heroes are now in, and the writers are going to have to give episodes over to everyone getting used to this new reality.
They may find themselves, for example, tangling with villians that they didn't have to before (like the start, when Kara met Weather Witch and had no idea who she was).
The ending was a tribute to the old Superfriends cartoon of long ago Saturday mornings. I got the reference of the monkey, Gleek, and the building that the heroes plan us to use as a meeting place, the Hall Of Justice.
That man who approached Kara and Barry and asked them to autograph his picture. That was Marv Wolfman, the original writer of the comic Crisis.
A great wrap-up to this story.

Was the ending of this story on both Arrow and Legends or just Arrow itself where Oliver died of course?
Maybe because of the new reality some things might go the way they originally went in the comics concerning certain villains who here fought different heroes like Supergirl fighting Kal-El's enemies who now won't or going off the rails having Flash nemesis's battle her and Supergirl nemesis's battle him.
I wonder how earth one or whatever it'll be called now like Earth-Prime for eg will handle earth 38's people and whether everyone on Jefferson's world including his family have retconned otherwise Black Lighting won't continue unless it's just him on this new earth who meets this version of his people and family?
