Was the ending of this story on both Arrow and Legends or just Arrow itself where Oliver died of course? Maybe because of the new reality some things might go the way they originally went in the comics concerning certain villains who here fought different heroes like Supergirl fighting Kal-El's enemies who now won't or going off the rails having Flash nemesis's battle her and Supergirl nemesis's battle him. I wonder how earth one or whatever it'll be called now like Earth-Prime for eg will handle earth 38's people and whether everyone on Jefferson's world including his family have retconned otherwise Black Lighting won't continue unless it's just him on this new earth who meets this version of his people and family? I believe it was on Arrow. I downloaded both parts, and watched them back to back. Oliver died with Sara and Barry by his side as the cliffhanger. Yes, this gives them a chance to re-do anything they like. They can retconned things, and even give back Superman all his villains, that Supergirl defeated, for his own show. They can even recast Maxwell Lord or Lucy Lane who have disappeared without a mention since S1 of Supergirl. I really do think this will happen to set up Superman and Lois well.

I'll admit, the first part was a little boring, and I did like Oliver's death scene, but I didn't feel as emotional towards it, as I did in the first fake out. But the second hour was fantastic, and I loved everything. Was I the only one, who thought Garry Green dressed as the Flash appeared to Barry. Until I realised it was a cameo appearance by Justice League's movie Flash. I really did enjoy this cameo, with the current Live Action Flashes on-screen. http://instagram.com/p/B7U6tWFFqHB But my favourite part the selfie. I could not stop laughing, and always Legends brings the funny. I loved Bebo. This creation of Earth-Prime allows more interesting stories for Flash, Supergirl and Black Lighning. As now Metahumans are available for Supergirl stories, and Aliens for Flash and Black Lightning (which primarily had metas) Of course, we all knew Earth Prime is basically just reborn with CW merging all their shows. No surprises. This is a fun nod to the comic Crisis, where the last thee earths in existence were merged into a new earth. I take it the montage at the end, showing new multi-earths with Earth 2, 9, 96 showing the Kingdom Come Superman, Titans, Stargirl and Doom Patrol, is nothing more than an Easter egg. Since none of those shows will ever crossover with the CW Earth Prime. I'm glad Sara was in charge throughout the episode. I was afraid that Barry would take over. But with Oliver gone, Sara is the next best choice as leader for the crossovers moving forward. Don't you think? So far the changes are: Clark and Lois have two sons, which is exciting for the new show. Baby Sara is back from the dead on Earth-Prime. Lex is now a hero, this opens the door for them to get around him being a wanted criminal, so they can use him for stories moving forward. He won't change, I'll bet he'll go back to being bad, and become a recurring villain for the Superman and Supergirl's shows. I loved Kate watching with Kara and Alex in Kara's apartment. Of course, we know, they'll do a Supergirl/batman crossover event with just them soon enough. Only part I was disappointed about was Earth 2 Laurel. I feel so bad for Katie Cassidy, she NEVER, has a big part in a single crossover to date, and is given just cameo's. I guess we'll find out next week in the backdoor pilot, if Earth 2 Laurel merged with Earth 1 in this new Prime-Earth, or what. I'm dying to know, how this new world, affects her? So now, we're stuck with one Harrison Wells. And it is Earth 19's.

I guess that the shows will have to adjust to this. In all the past crossovers, once all was said and done, it was business as usual.
That cannot be the case this time. Everything the heroes knew has changed, and they are going to have to adjust to that.
The biggest change is that they can now do crossovers without switching Earths. Kate Kane can just hop on her motorcycle and drive to National City to team up with Kara.
Did anyone noticed that, when Lex accept his prize, he winked at Kara. Of course, he was one of those that knew that everything had changed.
Loved the selfie and that grin on Ray's face.

Like before I wrote down my thoughts on the last two crossovers when I viewed them because as Dark Avenger did I watched both episodes together and like him also preferred Legends over Arrows one.
The stand out moments from these were Justice League Barry Allen cameo and his talk with Earth 1 Barry, Ray's selfie with others along with Bebo behind, Certain characters talking with one another i.e. Kara and Ryan, The Monitor and Ryan, and Ryan 'n' Rays talk and team up on the macro verse bomb that I got the Marvel Antman copyright reference of, Kate sitting with Kara and Alex, And the Justice League forming finally in Oliver's honour with the table, symbols and outside shot of the Hall Of Justice which I fan squealed at.
My not so favourite moments mainly were just little nitpicks like Laurel not getting enough screen time, non-continuity with Kara's hair not been the same from the first crossover when Jonn was there with her and Oliver then even though they filmed it not at that time, and credits scene listing actors, not in the episode which I thought was strange.
Learnt the Monitors backstory same as the crisis comics and how he travelled into the antimatter and such.
Caught the reference to Lex's 'Batman Brave And The Bold' comment and understood Sara's grief over Oliver.
She'd be a good new leader to take over in future crossovers.
I figured everyone except the paragons in the new world Earth-Prime which I guessed correctly would remember the multiverse with things happening differently like Lex being a hero which I don't believe's real unless it's a ruse and he's really evil or like Smallville's Lex whose good at the start turns evil at the end in the Superman series.
The paragons will have to get used to the new changes occurred although some won't like certain aspects of that like Kara working for Lex who now owns the DEO.
I wonder how each of them will cope and how much of their lives have changed?
Will Kate still have problems with Alice? Are Jefferson's people and family around or is he alone then? Clark with two babies, grown boys or teenagers perhaps?
Is another multiverse hinted at finally with Earth 9, 12, 19, and 21 which the league no nothing of at the moment or were those clips just fan service at the end?
Good episodes otherwise obviously.
Roll-on next crossover then.

The one thing more than anything that has irked me with this crossover is Marc Guggenheim's obvious Laurel-hate coming out full-force. Throughout the whole of Arrow season 8 she has been getting a TON of screentime, and the monitor was testing her just like he was Oliver to make sure she was ready for Crisis....so where was she exactly? You think maybe the woman who can open her mouth and scream a skycraper into the ground would have been pretty useful no? It has bothered me the entire event to the point where my enjoyment was being ruined because it made no sense whatsoever that she wasn't there. You can really tell Arrow has been under a new showrunner for the past couple seasons since Laurel has been getting ACTUAL screentime. Having said that, I enjoyed part 4 a lot more than 5, the visuals seemed stronger, the CGI looked crisper and more high quality, the way it was filmed when Barry was making his way through the memories looked better as well. The final fight was okay but it was just the paragons versus some minions so I wasn't that entertained, I guess this was Oliver's "real" death scene....I felt underwhelmed by it because we'd already seen him die once, felt a little anti-climactic. I loved the cameo from the Justice League Flash, it was great and well-done and I'm impressed they managed to keep it a secret for this long. I like that the worlds are merged, I think this might breathe some new life into certain shows that seemed to be lagging recently, I hope so anyway. I'm glad Oliver is finally at peace, hopefully he is in the afterlife with the TRUE love of his life:

Me too. Both Flash and Supergirl have not been their best this season.
Perhaps the new Post-Crisis storylines will give them the shot in the arm they need.

Katie Cassidy is shafted in every crossover, and if she does appear, it is a small cameo and she barely does much. I'm so angry, because, Laurel had so much of a role in the pre-crisis storylines on Arrow which dealt heavily with Crisis being set up. Then she just disappears, they had everyone on Team Arrow appearing at parts in the crossover. But where is is. Also, we'll find out next week what version of Laurel we have. Did she merge with Earth 1, or is she a brand new version of Laurel.

A lot of the actors that starred in this were not even born when the original comic story was written.
Still, they did a good job adapting it. Of course, some changes had to happen. In the original story, Kara and Barry died, but, back then, neither were the leads of a successful show. Still, they did acknowledge that Kara and Barry originally were to die, but Ollie made a deal to die in their place (since his show was ending).
And now we have a whole new Earth to play with. The rest of the season should be devoted to that, with Kara, Kate, Barry, and the others figuring out this new world that they now inhabit.
