I always love culture and exploring ancient structures, temples, and such. So going to visit places like China, Egypt or Peru are appealing. I've always been fascinated with stuff that was built thousands of years ago.
I especially like long hikes, it's part of why when I do tours, I prefer the walking tours, and I'd rather spent a bit more, and get a personal tour guide, than going on those ones with a tour group, because I get bored to death sitting in those buses with a tour group.
I had such a great experience with a personal tour guide in the past on two trips, as I feel like I'm truly getting my money's worth and the tour is my own making, and I get to pick the places I want to visit and such than going by wherever the tour bus takes you. But that's just me. I'd rather spend a bit more, and get more out of it, and know, I got to go to where I wanted to go.

Kind of cool to visit North Korea.
Those that have say the place is time locked into the 1950's. Well, the country has been more or less sealed off from the outside world since then.

Two years ago when mum and I holidayed in Lancashire we did an afternoon Beatrix Potter minibus tour of the Lake District with other people driving through the fields and stopping to take a picture at one point.
We passed Coniston Water where Donald Campbell broke the water speed record in the Bluebird K4 speed boat and also saw Hill Top farm which Beatrix brought and stayed at later in life the main reason for our visit.
After having afternoon tea's in the little market town nearby mum and I did a single trip on Lake Windmere included in the tour price also which was good then.
Anyone visiting North England I would recommend doing something like this.
I also wouldn't mind visiting the English Riviera again in Devon and viewing things I haven't seen obviously like Greenway House where Agatha Christie vacated and write some of her novels at.
Mum and I have been three times before of course.
The round-robin steam train, boat, and bus ride which I'd recommend to anyone visiting Devon has gone up in price so for me to do that again it would need to go down some pounds a bit.

Which I'd like also to do is a long biking tour around the world. Now that would be great but therefore you need a lot of money!

Unless boating it is cheaper but that would be more time getting to each country of course.
Coaching is also cheaper but too long as well otherwise aeroplane it everywhere cost be thousands of pounds.

That darn money issue again.
Where are transporters when we need them?

So many places I like to go to, I'd love to travel across Europe and take the train service to different parts. I prefer that to a plane, as I love to look out the window and see the amazing views. And, I'd feel more comfortable on a train than in the air for too long.
A trip to London, Paris, and France was something I really wanted to do in the next couple of years, but COVID-19 might mean I'll put that on hold for a bit longer, until it all dies down and we get a vaccine, and still the economy will take a while to get back to normal. So maybe in five years.

And five year will give you the time to raise the money for such a trip.

It will give me plenty of time to raise that money. I even have all that time to plan the trip and research where I'd like to stay.
I often get bored, and spend hours on google maps, looking at streets and places in other countries. Anybody else like to do that, being curious about other places in the world.

That sounds like fun, I've always wanted to use train services across Europe.
I did plan a trip to the USA this year and wanted to visit a few states, but of course, COVID-19 stopped those plans. One day I'm sure I'll do all of this.
Believe me, if I won the jackpot, I'd spent most of it on traveling, and probably go on a huge 3 month vacation.

I think we'd all for sure do that, if we won big. I know, I'd be doing so much travelling, and pop culture conventions.

Yeah, all of those sound like fun. If I had the money, and COVID-19 wasn't an issue, I'd be traveling more.

I do use google maps often when I'm travelling and booking trips, I'd like to see what is around the area. I did that in the past, so I know the hotels or places I'm visiting, what stores etc. and places to eat are around the area, so I can plan the right hotel and location. But, using it for fun sounds cool. I'm sure you can be on it all day, google mapping streets and places all over the world.

Oh yeah, that's what I did when I went to London in 2008. Was really helpful with Google Maps looking before where you live and all.
