Sweden is definitely on my bucket list, plus my brother’s favorite YouTuber is from Sweden. I actually became fascinated by Sweden as a kid after doing a report on Sweden for school when I was ten, the teacher had us pick random countries out of a bowl and we had to write a report on them. This was to prevent kids from doing reports on where their families were from and to actually do some research instead of doing something they knew.

I live barely half hour from New York City and have friends there, plus my family lives in Florida, Orlando and Miami. We’re currently staying with my brother in Virginia, I’ve posted pics in the My Pics thread in the Gallery section. We went to Maui on holiday and regularly go to Pennsylvania, last time we stayed at a casino hotel, Georgia was another holiday trip. He’s in the Navy and been all over, we visited him in San Diego. He’s been to Australia for naval maneuvers, he’s been to Darwin and Brisbane while he was stationed in Japan. Ultra cool. You have visited so many great places. I'm going to check out your pics now. How did you brother like Australia.

He thought Darwin reminded him of the more rural and swampy areas of Florida, like the Everglades. Him and some shipmates were at a casino in Darwin during a rugby tournament and they had the tables to themselves since everyone was watching the tournament on TV. Brisbane and the Gold Coast reminded him of Miami, he liked the Australian Navy guys and thought Australian women were hot but they were too tall for him since he’s only 165cm tall 😅

Australia is another place I wouldn't mind visiting.
Of course, I have to win that lottery first.

Your so right about Brisbane and the Gold Coast reminded him of Miami, because that is exactly how we see Miami reminding us of the God Coast and Brisbane.

We'd welcome you with open arms Tim.
That money problem, if I won the lottery, you can bet I'll be travelling places. Most people want to buy huge mansions when they win the lottery, when the first thing on my mind is travel travel travel.

Awesome, that's one place in Australia I wouldn't visit since I don't like tropical weather or clubbing. If I did visit Australia I'd like to see a bit of Sydney and then take a train across the country to Perth, it looks like a cool city. I actually wrote a story about an American girl who's Dad played for the Perth Heat baseball team and how they adjusted living in Australia, I got the idea from my brother since he encountered some American expats on the Gold Coast and learned there's a lot of Americans in Australia

Don't worry, I feel the same way. Honestly, I wouldn't enjoy traveling halfway across the world just to sit in the sun (If I want to do that I'll just go to the Gold Coast, I get bored easily if I spend days at a tropical location, one day or a few hours is enough), I'd rather be doing sightseeing, the same way, I've never been on a cruise, I find them rather boring. A cruise, for me, is when I go on a holiday and do a one-hour cruise tour for sightseeing in a city, not spend the entire time on one. But I know so many enjoy them, just not for me.
You'll have so much fun in Sydney and Perth. Highly recommend those locations. Avoid the Gold Coast then, you won't enjoy it, as since you don't like tropical weather or clubbing, it's basically all that, and theme parks.
WOW! That sounds like a fun story to write.
Yes, we have quite a lot of Americans in Australia.

My family went on a cruise to the Bahamas and I didn't like it much, I don't swim or like hot weather so I spent much of the time drinking and gambling at the ship's casino. Plus the Bahamas were too hot and I don't like the tropics, it was Mom's idea. Thanks for the heads up about the Gold Coast, I don't like beaches or amusement parks either. I never liked amusement parks even as a kid, it seemed like a lot of waiting around and I didn't like the noise and crowds, I don't understand how noise=fun. I'd have to rewrite that story since the website where I posted it disappeared and I lost the notebooks, but I have some stories here I need to finish before I start another project

Another cruise hater here I didn't like the one to the Bahamas at all since I don't swim and am too fat to wear a bikini. Plus having food, booze and gambling available 24 hours a day isn't good for my compulsive and addiction behaviors, I'd rather go to Vegas. My friend lives in Vegas and he doesn't go to the Strip unless it's with out of town friends or relatives, he'd rather ride his bike in the desert, visit the national parks in Arizona and Utah or go hunting. There's lots of stuff to see in Nevada that doesn't involve gambling

In Australia I also would be on ABBAs famous tour there. I know that there are many fans still out there.
