Those are good suggestions. Now that could be a good idea. Perhaps instead of having Samuel Campbell (Mary's dad) being resurrected, it's him who is part of the S6 storyline with the Campbell clan and he is Mary's brother, or maybe John did have a brother who was a hunter, either could work. And that's fine with me, if you keep doing that, and we take care of the backstory and work our way from S1 onwards. That actually is a pretty neat idea to have Bruce Campell play Mary's brother, or even John's long lost brother. I like that than resurrecting Samuel Campbell. I really like this change, instead of bringing back Samuel Campbell from the dead, so maybe Mary's brother or John's half brother is the one they meet in S6.

That could work.
Slip in a joke or two about Bruce's character having experience fighting supernatural beings.

And Bruce's character could say he and John argured when the latter became a hunter after Mary died because one he didn't want Sam or Dean raised in the life like Mary and because they had different views on hunting and how things should be done which would be funny seeing in flashback some point of course.

I really like your suggestions here on their different views on having Sam and Dean raised as hunters. Which would make a great flashback at some point, especially when we introduce Bruce's character.

When would you lot like to do it?
Bring Bruce in, that is?

Bring Bruce in, that is? I say at Season 5 at the earliest. S1 seems too early with all we have going on and characters we introduced earlier.

I viewed these when I was a guest (I kept coming back to this thread every day) and figured it was time to join, I love Supernatural and Jared especially.
I'm liking the episodes so far you all have written. When Jo and Charlie were killed off, I was so upset, I cried when they died and was very mad at the writers. So reading these and finding out you'll not do that, I was very happy.

Yeah, I hated that too, especially Charlie. If they wanted to write her out, they could have left her in Oz. So, that is what I did. My episode, Return To Oz, is Charlie's final appearance.
As for Jo, she is in the hands of Dark Avenger and Trinity (who are doing Season 1, while I'm doing 10). However, as you can see, she's still with us in Season Ten (she was in my Jack The Ripper episode).

I saw that episode you did, and was very satisfied with that as her ending. I'm very happy to see it, and I liked her in the Jack the Ripper episode. Is going to be fun to see what happens next, I liked the direction Season 1 is gone so far, and Season 10 as you are doing. Jo had so much wasted potential that is really being used so well. And Charlie being a friend of Sam's, who now knows the secret, no doubt I'll expect to see her pop back up later, and build her story up.

One thing we all agreed on is that there would be no stuffing strong female characters into the fridge. The show made that mistake again and again, and we all hated that. Seems the writers didn't want these characters getting in the way of the bromance, which is silly (I mean Charlie doesn't even date men).
Rest assured, Pia, that will not happen here.
And I'm glad you're enjoying this (and you did say this is what drew you to us). And if you wish to join in, go for it. Just be sure to read what's already been established first

I agree, how they can get in the way of bromance makes so sense to me, especially Charlie. And someone like poor Missouri, fans asked about her or years, and she shows up 12 years later, only to be killed. I always liked her as a side character, she was funny and tough. Music to my ears hearing that. I have enjoyed it, very fun reading it, and what drew me to this board. If I take a crack at writing one, I'll make sure to read what has already been established first.

And she won't be thrown away here either.
Excellent. We'll have an international writing team. Myself (Canada), Dark Avenger (Australia), Trinity (New Zealand), and you, Pia, can represent the United States.

Excellent. I loved her backstory with John in the first episode, and her scenes with John and Jim so far. So glad to see she'll not be a throw away character here. Wonderful. That's so cool, we are have a very wide range of writers here, and I can represent the United States. And our other contributor with amazing ideas, I've liked and seen many writers adapted them to fit the stories, Melinda Halliwell, can represent UK.

Welcome aboard, very happy you liked what we have done so far, and that is what drew you to us. Yes, we are all represented here. Like Tim said, just be sure to make your your episodes follow what is established as SDOW canon from before.

I was kicking around an idea for doing something like this.
Once again, great minds think alike.
And this will be updated every time a new release is made. If Dark Avenger isn't available at the time, I can do it.
