Wtf?? The CW has never had this many breaks between episodes.
Is COVID really the reason. That production is taking longer to film one episode these days. Hence the constant breaks. If so why promise us no breaks. They shouldn't have said that.

They lied to us, that's the only reason I come up with. They never did intend to keep their promise of no long breaks.
I mean it's almost the end of the season, for God's sake. Why take a break now. Show the last bunch of episodes and then go into the summer hiatus.

Looks like clearly summer hiatus does not exist this year. Looks like The CW is going to be airing new episodes of nearly it's entire lineup all through summer. Why. I don't get it.

And Charmed is also taking a three week break for no apparent reason

This is starting to get annoying. The CW has themselves to blame if they lose viewers. I can see how frustrating it can be, not knowing when a show is one. They seem to be taking breaks every two or three episodes. Yeah, it sounds like CW wants to run original programming through the American summer this year.

If this goes on, these shows will never come across the ocean. I can only guess that our channels wait to see how it goes in the USA. Not good, and then I got the big break again. *sighs*

Looks like I won't need to worry to catch up on some shows I missed this week.
Still why so many breaks. I just saw Flash the CW was meant to bring it back June 1st now it's been delayed an extra week. WTF. WHY?

Not the Flash too. Looks like Superman and Lois and Legends are the only new shows on next week. I'm losing track now what is new next week apart from them? I can see why viewership is down, people are forgetting when the shows are new or back from yet another long break.

I don't believe it! The lousy, welshing, CW is gonna f**k us over again, this time with Superman & Lois!
There is no reason for this break! None! There are only four episodes left, for Christ's sake! Why not just air them?
If there is a reason here, I'm not seeing it. IF you take away these breaks, the CW shows would have ended their seasons in May, which they usually do. I mean Nancy Drew finished in May, because that show had no long breaks,
Whomever is in charge of this at the CW needs to be fired.

They are only just started the S1 finale now filming. I get why they had to run into June and break before. But they didn't need to finish S1 in August. Which I heard is what they are doing.
They still could have run the last four episodes into mid July.
Walker will go on break AGAIN after this week. WHY.
The Flash and Batwoman do not break like these two do. I don't get it. And Flash has more episodes than S&L this season and just as many special effects if post production is the cause.
Both S&L and Walker don't need breaks after this week. Can't they just run into mid July not break so they end August.

WHAAAATT!?
*checks CW wiki*
This is f*cking unbelievable. If I'm reading this right, we're only gonna get ONE Walker episode for all of July! ONE!!
The CW seems to be prolonging the TV season for some of their shows. Why? What's the game plan here? I don't see any rhyme or reason. Nancy Drew was allowed to end the current season in May, when the TV season normally does. However, that show seems to be the exception this year.
Batwoman will end its season this Sunday. Charmed will only have a one week break, because of the Fourth Of July holiday (I can understand this one), before returning and ending the current season on July 16th. The Flash will end the current season on July 20th.
And poor Riverdale fans, they have a five month break for some reason. Had that not happened, Riverdale would have ended it's current season at the same time as Nancy Drew did.
The director of programming at the CW should be fired.

Count Superman and Lois also which has a 4-week break as well.

My post was swallowed again last night. However, if this goes on this way, these shows never come to me. And then to a time when the episodes don't make sense here!

Once again I'm compelled to point out that the CW promised that there would be no unnecessary breaks this season. They promised.
And once again they are welshing on that promise for no good reason. While I can see them wanting to not air episodes on the Fourth Of July weekend (due to it being a national holiday), there is no excuse for the long breaks on Walker and Superman & Lois. NONE!
What does CW stand for anyway? Crappy Welshers? Complete Wankers? Corrupt Whackjobs?
