Whatever you wanna call them, the CW should be boycotted - in some ways, though not with our fav shows!

The CW needs new management. One that can deliver on their promises.

WHAT?? AGAIN? This is insane. No excuses this time, Walker wrapped production for S1 not too long ago, so the episodes are finished. Just air the rest of S1, why is there one episode on July 15th and then a break until August. *sigh* Also, Superman and Lois will be back in July for two weeks, and is going to take a break AGAIN after episodes 12 & 13, and come back in August for the last two.

Really? This is completely crazy with so many breaks between the episodes and even when they are not that many!

Seems the CW is prolonging the season, for reasons unknown. None of the other networks have done that, they ended their seasons in May, as usual.

Viewers will turn their back away from these if this continues I'm sure.

The break in late July is because of the Summer Olympics, which are scheduled to take place from July 23rd to August 8th. Charmed and The Flash won't be affected because both will end their seasons before the games start (July 16th and 20th respectively).
Of course, had the CW allowed their shows to end when they normally do, in May, then the Olympics wouldn't be a factor here.

Well, if that goes on, these shows will appear for me one year later than originally or to a not wanted time. *sighs*

The point is that the Olympics wouldn't have been a factor in things if the CW had allowed their shows to end their seasons normally.
All the CW that started in January would have ended their seasons in May, had the CW not kept throwing in these pointless breaks.
Both Nancy Drew and Charmed started in January, and have the same number of episodes (18). Nancy Drew ended in May, as it should have, but Charmed will end on July 16th. Why? Because Charmed, like so many other CW shows this season, was subjected to long breaks for no good reason.
And, again, the CW promised that there would be no such breaks. LIARS!!

Charmed reboot has been delayed another week. Just came across that now. Season finale now airing July 23rd not 16th.

What the hell is the reason for this!?
I can see why they're not airing a new episode next weekend, it being the Fourth Of July holiday. But why the extra week delay, surely they must have finished filming by now!

Walker just wrapped filming this week for S1, and S&L is currently filming the S1 finale. I do know last year, Charmed had a couple of pauses in production due to COVID once in September and again in November, so that could be why it slowed down production to not finish the season on time for it to wrap by May. I have no idea if they are still filming? Riverdale is worse, that show has been on break for months after coming back for only seven episodes back in March. EDIT: WTF? That reason makes no sense.

What kind of corny excuse is this!?
The CW is trying to put a positive spin on their blatant welshing. I'm not buying it.

Superman and Lois JUST wrapped production on season 1 yesterday. So I do get why the show never was going to end its season in June. But as for Walker (which wrapped production on S1 a couple of weeks ago), that show honestly should have just run its season through now (there's only THREE LEFT), and be over before Olympics started.
As for Charmed, why the heck is it on break, this makes zero sense. S3 wrapped production weeks ago. So the whole season was in the can. Why is it in break next week?
And Riverdale has been on break for months, and S6 starts in October, and S5 still isn't done yet. So they are going to jump from S5 to S6. LOL
The good news is with S&L S2 starting January not the fall, they for sure have no excuses for S2 not running and ending on time by June 2022. If production on S2 starts in September and ends in April. They'll get out the season without a dozen breaks next year. CW I hope you do.

Exactly, yes. They've finished their season.
I can see breaking for this weekend, the Fourth of July. However, there is no excuse for next week.
