Mum, my sister, and I arrived at Butlins okay around 5 pm and found our accommodation which is 2 mins walk from the main entertainment area then.
We had to park a little way from that as the nearest car park was being used by one of the hotels there.
Before dinner we visited the onsite supermarket and bought some cereal, milk, and butter for the week.
The rest we need being bread, crisps, and stuff to make up sandwiches we'll purchase tomorrow whilst we're out because those were expensive on camp.
After giving my sisters evening medication we saw an Abba production show that I'd booked for Mum being a fan of the band which took place in one of the entertainment venues off the Skyline Pavilion of course.
Tomorrow we shall visit Portsmouth town and harbour which we've done and enjoyed before.

Today we visited Portsmouth and looked around the town centre then Gunwharf Quays shopping Outlet and the Harbour nearby afterward.
We had visited this place before but not Gunwharf Quays of course.
The town centre was small and expensive to park but the offset was somewhere my sister could eat which did something she liked that Gunwharf didn't offer.
I preferred Gunwharf and the Harbour to the town so am glad we got to see that later.
Mum purchased some L'occitane liquid bath soap which normally retail £22 a refill pouch but were 2 for £20 in their summer sale.
I bought some Cadburys Fudge from the Cadbury store the outlet had also.
After my sisters evening meds, we saw another booked show being Jukebox Musicals showcasing different songs from various productions which I'm a fan of the genre of.

Portsmouth was okay except we got there later than originally planned because it took us an hour to find my car and get out of Butlins being parked so far from our accommodation.
When we arrived back earlier in the evening I managed to park somewhere nearer so less walking tomorrow and less time trying to find where my car is obviously.

I didn't lose my car. Butlins has different parking areas and I'd forgotten where we'd parked the day before so it took me some time trying to find that of course.
Car parks are not signposted like attraction areas are so unless you're staying anywhere near those people have to remember where they are overall.

Today Mum, my sister, and I visited Worthing a medium-sized seaside town nestled between Bognor and Brighton.
We chose this over Brighton because it was somewhere we hadn't been before, was cheaper to park, and was more flat-surfaced for my sister's wheelchair whereas Brighton has a hill up to the station and she's not exactly slim if you know what I mean.
Lunch was had in a fish 'n' chip because when at the seaside you have to eat fish and chips of course.
My sister didn't have anything because she wasn't interested in what we'd got her and so waited until we'd got back to camp.
Later on, we saw an educational show called Animals vs Dinosaurs presented by conservationists showcasing different creatures etc and promoting how to care for them. etc.
It was a mixture of onscreen graphics and lifesize animals puppets that walked on and off stage.
We ventured back into the Skyline Pavilion and stayed there for a bit before heading off to bed.

It sounds like you’re having an interesting holiday, Katherine. It’s cool that your sister seems to be enjoying herself, it reminds me of when my brother was younger and it was hard to find food he’d eat or someplace where he didn’t have to walk far. Portsmouth and Bognor sound interesting, the south English seaside sounds like a more sedate Jersey Shore. I’ve had fish and chips in England and Ireland and I haven’t had any as good in the US, us Yanks never learned to fry fish properly. And that show sounds cool, my brother would like it because he likes dinosaurs

Should ave thought of that before your little revolution Haha, many places seem terrified of using beer batter and think fried fish should have the texture of Gorton’s or fish sticks. But seriously, people in the British Isles know how to fry fish properly

We do know how to fry fish properly but the price of that goes up every year, unfortunately.
A typical cod and chips meal retails between £8.45 - £10.45 depending on where you eat because there's less cod to catch now obviously.
Other forms of Fish like Haddock, Rock, and Plaice are cheaper been more supplies of that hence the price difference then.
