Yes, who will be next once all the craziness has blown over then?
There'll be sweet deals going I'm sure to entice travels again.

Exactly right. I'm sure they'll want to encourage travel again. Plenty of deals will likely be coming from now until Christmas.
I hope to take a trip later this year around August or September. We'll see.

Tomorrow we’re leaving for Las Vegas, we’re packing up. I’m excited and nervous all at once, this is going to be a real vacation instead of just visiting family.

We got back from Vegas yesterday, today we were unpacking and doing laundry and grocery shopping. It got off to a weird start since the day before we left, we tried to check in to the flight online and found out our flight to Vegas was canceled and we put on a flight to Orlando and then a flight to Vegas. We arrived in Vegas late and could only get some room service pizza. But other than that, it was a good trip. We stayed at the Paris Las Vegas which is a casino that’s supposed to look like France, the restaurants had French food and the pool had an Eiffel Tower overlooking it.
We stayed on the Strip so we would just walk from casino to casino to look around, each casino had an indoor mall or other attraction. The nicest were the Bellagio and Caesars Palace, the Bellagio was really fancy and Caesars had a huge mall inside and resembled a Roman villa. There’s also lots of singers who have residencies at the casinos, especially pop stars and country artists. We didn’t gamble but we had a good time just watching the people and going inside the casinos, they each have a theme and one can easily spend a lot on shopping or just people watching

Welcome back! I'm happy you had a lovely trip ladyfiaran22 . It sure sounds like fun, and it's nice to know there are plenty of places and fun to do in Vegas than gambling. I sure want to visit it one day, as I hear so many good things about it, that isn't just casinos. Will keep these in mind, as those malls sound really cool.

Thanks, guys. Vegas is fun, there’s stuff to do that doesn’t involve gambling. On the Strip casinos are all next to each other and you can walk to them, many of them have malls or something else inside. Some of them like Excalibur and Circus Circus cater more to families and have amusement parks inside for the kids, plus they all have huge swimming pools. Our hotel didn’t have many kids, mostly older people who were there for gambling and drinking. One thing I didn’t like is that the casinos allow smoking and they reeked of cigarette smoke, plus marijuana is completely legal in Nevada so we’d smell cannabis smoke outside and that smells so bad.
