Chesney Hawkes? Wow, I remember him - but only with one song which I can't remember right now. Oops.

That's the song I remember Chesney for as well with him always having been called a one hit wonder ever since but he's now touring the UK and has a new album coming out later this year also.
His voice has matured too as he's gotten older of course.
Anyway on our final day we saw a circus show in a custom made Big Top which was good.
It was my first ever circus show that I was dubious about seeing due to not liking loud noises and pyros and everything but there was only one bang and I had my noise cancelling earphones on so that helped as well.
All the performers were great.
We visited a farm up the road afterwards but only stayed an hour due to the high winds blowing and so got lunch then headed back to Butlins and ate that along with two cups of tea.
Gaining more tickets in the arcade we combined those with what we had already and got whatever prize was there.
Later was dinner before we saw a little evening entertainment and then packed for our trip home subsequent.

Before heading home after leaving Butlins Mum and I stopped off in Skegness 10 minutes' drive away and looked around the Aquarium there taking photos along the way.
The Pier was next door but the lift going up to the path that lead outside wasn't working so we peeked inside the funfair next to that.
Crossing the road we did some slots inside the arcades there and prize bingo which we also enjoyed.
Lunch was had in a fish and chip shop before heading to the car and driving home back again.

Yes, you do especially at the seaside because it's a British staple though it depends where you are as at our nearest beach Southend food and drink cost separately whereas other places do both with bread and butter for one set price although that's mostly for OAPs which Mum is then.

Love chips, or French Fries, as we call them.

We call them 'Pommes' from the French term 'pommes des terre'. Blame the 18th century and Frederic the Great or Second of Prussia. lol
