We got back yesterday and I’m glad to be back since the vacation was less than great. At our hotel in Florida, the management moved us to a different room halfway in our stay because they were going to fix that floor, plus they advertised a hot breakfast but instead they only had bagels and cereal and neither the microwave or coffee machine worked😖 Visiting my brother in Virginia wasn’t great either since it rained a lot and he drinks heavily, plus he fostered another dog in addition to the two he owns and they fought constantly. So we were stuck inside and bored

That hotel should offer you a refund, IMO.

It's a shame you didn't have the holiday you wanted Vanessa and yes I agree with Tim the hotel should offer you a refund perhaps then.

Ouch. That didn't go well. Indeed, you should ask for refund here, Vanessa. It can only get better now.

Mom gave them a bad review on Expedia and asked for a refund, we’re still waiting to hear from them. Not having a coffee machine or microwave sucked because the coffee downstairs was weak and tasteless, we could have made our own stronger blend in the room. And having no microwave sucked too because my brother can’t have cold milk with cereal because of sensory issues, we couldn’t warm up milk for his cereal so he ended up with dry cereal and he’d only eat the bagels if they were drowning in peanut butter or Nutella, which made a mess. They could have posted on the website they didn’t have hot breakfast, instead we got dry cereal and defrosted frozen bagels😤

If they don't cough up that refund, spread the word.
The more people that find out how bad things are, the less business they'll get.

Yeah, well, if they don't provide what they say to have, complain and write a bad review and more. The company has to react then. They live from good reputation.

Anyone wanting to view London on a budget I've linked these handy guides which I hope might help without breaking the bank. There are many tours one can take the most popular being open top buses which includes a single boat trip down the Thames but did you know you can so that another way and still save money? Well this website below has a bus tour that uses an oyster card the form of travel in London although you can use a contactless card or travelcard instead costing £13.90 total that takes up a whole day and not 2 hours on the open top bus or £30 price tag. www.londonforfree.net/bus-tour/#:~:text=London%20for%20free%20-%20Cheap%20self-guided%20Bus%20TourThe tour starts at Piccadilly Circus and heads west then back into central London before travelling east then back to Piccadilly Circus finally at the end of the day. If your willing to change buses and walk a little then this tours for you. There are no audio or live tour guides here but this website has an audio guide which can be purchased and used on smartphones instead. freetoursbyfoot.com/audio-tours-london/Any walkers out there this website voicemap.me/tour/london?utf8=%E2%9C%93&sort=rating&q%5Blanguage_id_in%5D%5B%5D=7 provides 67 audio guides that can be done by yourself or with family detailing different sights around London which can be learned about some free like the Theatreland Tour with Sir Ian Mc Kellan or others costing under £5 or this one voicemap.me/route-bundles/the-essential-london-explorer-package combining 5 tours total saving £3.67 on overall cost. Here's another part of the website I've linked with separate tours to the first audio one that also can be done depending which one you choose that's cheaply priced also as well. freetoursbyfoot.com/london-toursA third way to see London is the Thames of course so if you are member of Groupon then this deal here www.groupon.co.uk/deals/thames-river-sightseeing-3?deal_option=848806d0-384c-4049-b779-4476f394f17e will allow one child or adult a return ticket from Westminster Pier to Greenwich where you can see the Royal Observatory, Old Naval College, Queens House, and Maritime museums for a fraction of the total £17.90 cost saving some pounds of something else as well.

Not to forget several free entrance in London's museums. That's what I remember from my trips there, though sometimes with a long queue but it's worth it.

I just booked my spring break trip, I’m going to stay in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in Amish country. This is going to be my first solo trip, I wanted to go somewhere not too far at first. I’m taking the Amtrak train to Lancaster and then a cab to the hotel which is out in the country. This is the hotel: fultonsteamboatinn.com/
