Was featured in the Doctor Who story, The War Machines, in 1966.

To make up for our unexpected exit home on Tuesday Mum and I browsed inside the Bank Of England's Museum which was free to enter.
The vault which famously houses gold bars is directly below the museum.
Trivia the building that most people think is the bank stood out in the middle of Bank London is not that but the Financial Exchange one.
The actual bank itself is down the side of a road near that of course.
Although small in nature the museum was interesting telling the history of how it was built and the centuries of currency up until now.
We ate lunch before entering the museum then went home afterwards.

It was okay yes.
My friend visited there once before but he thought it was the most boring place he'd gone to himself.

Yesterday Mum and I visited Kingston Upon Thames's Christmas Market which we'd done the first-time last year.
The fair was similar with the same number of stalls as before and the shopping center was as I remembered it as well.
Afterward we took a bus to Putney Bridge and got on a Thames Clipper boat back to Barking Riverside before heading home because the discount code I normally use to get money of the total cost ends New Year's Eve hence why we done that of course.

Today Mum and I have visited London's Xmas Markets which we normally do each year but have done things a bit differently then. Instead of doing Christmas By The River then Covent Garden, Leicester and Trafalgar Square, we've done stuff the other way ending at Tower Hill which will happen after having our cup of tea we're currently doing.
Bought some nice tea and jam from a Covent Garden stall plus a Harry Potter Hufflepuff hat and scarf from a Charing Cross shop which I've always wanted.
Lots of pics taken which I'll share online once they are uploaded of course.
Next Thurs we're visiting Hyde Park Winter Wonderland after taking my sister home Weds who's staying with us and doing an open top Xmas Lights afterwards like last year but with a different company this time that goes around more places in London.

Mum and I did our annual Christmas trip to Hyde Park Winter Wonderland which was busy.
All the various market stalls, food outlets, and rides were there.
We went on a bus tour from the Ritz Hotel afterwards which drove around London and through the Xmas lights up Regent Street of course.
Subsequently, both of us walked up Carnaby Street and viewed their lights which as always were very good.
Homeward bound beckoned us last then.
Took loads of pictures that I'll post once uploaded and sorted out.

This evening Mum and I visited the Christmas Land attraction we would've done with my sister Xmas Eve if not for the car and went by public transport.
We arrived early in case there was a queue to get to and waited till our allotted time slot then.
The attraction featured lit-up ornaments and drop-down lights which the photos show plus a train and King Charles's throne as well.
Both of us stayed half an hour before heading into town for dinner at the nearest pub which we did before catching the bus home.

The last ten days have been Canary Wharf's annual Light Festival event which was in its 8th year that Mum and I visited this evening.
I'd gone with my friend previously but he didn't come this time due to it being a weekend and busy plus cold as well then.
Before seeing the lights, Mum and I browsed around the Icon shopping outlet at the o2 North Greenwich where we ate in one of the pubs there.
I bought some nice Chelsea Breakfast and Earl Grey tea from Whittard tea shop to try at home.
We later boarded an Uber Boat and got off at Canary Wharf Pier and done the light festival although didn't see everything as one area was really busy and so had a cup of tea and sausage roll and cake then got another Uber Boat back to Woolwich and the train/bus home in the end.
