Today we saw a relaxed performance of Cinderella at the Cliffs Pavilion theater in Southend 45 mins drive from us.
The pantomime was good with a mix of fairytale and modern stuff like songs from the '60s, '70s, '80s, and '90s for eg and a scene with Buttons played by British comedian Brian Conley winning the Masked Singer who was very funny and the highlight of the panto.
Being relaxed there were many people with varying disabilities who fully enjoyed themselves with the adults and kids joining along mum and I included.
We ate nearby afterwards before driving home.
I'll see the relaxed performance of Six on my own next Sunday and so will let everyone know how I enjoyed that of course.

We did Tim. I already booked earlier this evening to see Snow White next year same date and time featuring British dance crew Diversity who I assume will be playing the 7 dwarfs which mum's already looking forward to seeing then.
Pantomime's always been a British tradition Christmas/New Year time and with more theaters doing relaxed performances I can go and see productions without my phonophobia fear putting me off of course.

I saw Six the musical today at the Vaudeville Theater London which was good then.
It was the first theater production I'd seen by myself as mum wasn't there with me.
The shows a modern retelling of Henry VIII's wives stories as told by them and how they participate in a competition 500 years later to see who out of them was most wronged and would best suit been the leader of the band their in whoever won of course.
Each wife had their own segment until Katharine Parr said instead of everyone moaning about what had happened to them they should reclaim their lives instead which they did through an alternate ending having not gone with Henry but formed the band instead.
My favorite part was Anna Of Cleve's bit which was psychedelically staged with neon colors and glasses when they sung about the painter who captured her Hans Holbein.
The songs were pop related also giving the show it's modern feel with the orchestra members playing the guitar, drums, and keyboard ladies in waiting.

Ah yes, this includes the original Jane Seymour (the actor took her stage name after her).

Being the new year nearly and with after-Christmas sales on the West Ends doing certain promotions on London shows which mum and I have partaken of.
New year's eve we're seeing Snow White's relaxed performance panto at the Cliffs Pavilion in West Cliff that we booked last year and are now also gonna see relaxed performances of the Frozen musical on the 5th of February and the relaxed performance of Matilda the Musical on the 18th of June then.
The ticket prices we managed to get were £35 each for Frozen and £25 each for Matilda.
We'll eat out after the first show starts at 1 pm and eat before with the second that starts at 3 pm.

I've not been well today as have had a bad headache and was sick this morning also so we didn't see Snow White panto at the Cliffs Pavilion theatre. Hopefully, I'll feel better tomorrow perhaps.

Yesterday was the last show so the Pantos finished until this November coming new year when the next Panto comes on.
If so might have a see if mum and I can see a relaxed panto at our local theatre depending on what day that'd be on then.

Today mum and I saw a relaxed performance of Frozen The Musical at the Theatre Royal Dury Lane London near Covent Garden and the Strand which was fantastic overall. frozenthemusical.co.uk/I bought a program during the interval before we both headed for the Disney store in Oxford Street post-production where mum purchased an Olaf soft toy for my sister that was cheaper than buying it in the theatre itself. The singing and staging including the snow effects were very well done. Mum gave the show 10/10 and said she would go back and see it again of course. Later we ate at a Wetherspoons before getting two trains and two buses home afterward.
