A "relaxed" performance?

These are productions tailored to people with additional needs for eg. autism or anyone who has PTSD and or in my case is sensitive to loud noises obviously so things like the sound level are lower, the theatre lights are still switched on but dimmed down of course.
My sister and Vanessa's brother are perfect candidates for these.
There are quiet areas for people outside to sit if things get too much inside the auditorium itself and strobe or flashing lights are taken out as well.
Those types of shows are usually once a year and the West End is getting more clued up on it then. The only thing that needs improvement is having more than one relaxed performance a year encase anyone who couldn't get tickets the first time can do so the second time obviously.

Mum and I saw Matilda The Musical earlier at the Cambridge Theatre London around the Seven Dials area near Harry Potter And The Cursed Child which we'd bought tickets for in January of course.
The show was very good with the child actors performing rather well.
Cambridge Theatre is newer than the Victorian Theatres up Strand Road which the photos in my latest thread depict.
Before going there we saw lots of Shire Horses on carts which I photographed outside the Harry Potter Theatre and pub opposite the road.
Once the show finished we ventured to Baker Street and ate dinner then headed home subsequent.

I need to repeat my question here: The musical "Matilda" from the movie?

Yes, the theatre show was what the latest Matilda film starring Dame Emma Thompson's about.
Our next production if we see it is the Peter Pan panto at the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre in Westcliff near Southend on New Year's Eve though this time I paid a little extra to secure cancellation protection which includes a refund if we can't go like last year when I fell ill.

This morning I purchased a ticket to see a relaxed performance of the live action stage version of Studio Ghibli's 1988 film "My Neighbour Totoro" next February at the Barbican Centre which is returning a second time following initial success from its last year run of course. www.rsc.org.uk/my-neighbour-totoroUnfortunately, I couldn't buy a ticket for mum as there were few left and not 2 which sat together but I did say if the show was really good, and any more relaxed performances cropped up we could both see it then ourselves. As someone who owns and loves all Studio Ghibli films this was a no brainer to watch overall.

I've heard of Studio Ghibli and their anime movies but a play? Nah, more animated movies then, please.

To celebrate New Year Mum and I saw Peter Pan in Panto at the Westcliff Pavilion Theatre near Southend On Sea earlier on this afternoon.
We got the train there and back because of my car issue obviously.
It was the second time we'd seen Panto there as I was ill last year and so didn't see the Robin Hood production.
The show was very funny with a couple of well-known British celebrities in the main roles.
We ate lunch locally before going home subsequently, getting in before a huge downpour of rain.
We've booked to see Beauty and The Beast Panto next New Year's Eve there.
